I remember how passionately I started my journey of learning Japanese from last year, in this year, with so many things going on I realised I gradually stopped learning and reviewing. I will probably continue this series from now on, watching this video today and reviewing all of this words I learned beforehand reminded me of my wholesome memories of my learning journey and how determined I was of that time and teared me up a bit....

Just starting out. I thought that Japanese didn't suffer from the alternate sounds of letters, e.g. in english the letter "a" can sound different ways depending on the word. Yet in these examples, Konnichiwa is demonstrated to have an "m" sound. The speaker even has the closed lips of an "m" as opposed to an open lipped "n". This also happens with sumimasen where the "n" is pronounced as an "m". Is this an accent or is this normal?
