This TRU is may be a good unit (only time will show), but your R3000 is a real disgrace on the USA market. I can not regret enough my decision to buy your POS brand new R3000 back then as owner operator. It took just 1 year after I paid my loan for this R3000 (6 years), to find out rotting aluminum duct floor on spots. And I babysit this trailer. I had no clue where it coming from. Was thinking may be some battery powered forklifts dropping acid drops from their might be broken batteries. WRONG! When it came more obvious to see full picture, you can trace the floor is rotting where it’s laying on your famous “full width hardwood fillers” which is most likely pressure treated! Jesus, its right there, in your ads! So, you put aluminum floor on wood in refrigeration environment, it’s insane! That decision will predictably, inevitably eat the aluminum in 6-9 years, because there is no way you can avoid the moisture absorbs in the wood, causing the chemical reaction with aluminum and destroy it! Your engineers know it’s going to happen sooner, or later. And yet unlike other brands, you still advertise it as it some kind of innovation! That is why your “warranty” is only cover 5 years. You know on the 6-th year the owner might be very surprised, that the value of his equipment just run downhill full speed! I hope one day somebody will bring class lawsuit for defrauding hundreds of thousands victims of poor decision to buy Utility R3000!
In the mean time on the question “Is it worth to buy R3000 with ANY TRU on it as good investment to own it” the answer is HELL NO. Unless you’re willing waist 100K just in 5 years…
