How did u play the starting part (0:04-...) with all alternating picking? Like how is it even possible?

It's more economy picking - so the very first three string ascending bit is a sweep, then alternate pick the 17-13-17-13 on the e string, and then for the next two notes it's a small sweep for 15b-16e using downstrokes to start the next loop. Syn loves to add these economy picking parts to his solos!
