I'm a guy who really loves metal and heavy stuff but grew up on oldies cause my parents and I'm only 22 but man this songs so pretty and makes me feel emotional which a song hasn't made me feel in long time and just exactly like lyrics say I think things the way they used to be. We sometimes (like yearly) blow off some steam with pills which my parents have their thoughts about, but they don't care what our life is like. Only that we're doing well and getting somewhere. Your parents and family are slowly letting you both loose. Don't expect them to come out to help you with everything anymore, now it's just the two of you. It's not the same as it was when you left the house. If you have problems now, thats a problem for the both of you. We're in the modern age where everyone is racing, Everything is getting faster (including internet) while we're all out there using it to endlessly discuss with eachother. Life is going so fast you barely have any time to look back, but you should and see it has now all changed.

hi from Turkey i like to listening Harry's songs his songs and reminds me 80's sounds im 52 years when i was a teenage guy (mid 80's) i was listening and singind it terms songs and singers (like Bangles-walk like the Egyptian or AHA Take on me) my one of the most favourite 80's songs have always been lady Jennifer Rush and her unforgetable song The Power of Love lady Rush had strong voice
Just the technical aspects of how they managed to pull this song off live leaves me in awe. Definitely required a lot of planning and practice which didn't include the singing/playing the instruments.
I think Harry is one of the few artists that produces live performances organically no back tracks if there is any its minimal sound really comes from the musicians.
I agree that it’s great but you need to listen to more music that isn’t pop if you think he’s one of the few artists that produces this kind of stuff live… Plus so much of it is down to this incredible band of session musicians. Bands/artists like big thief, Radiohead, the strokes (who influenced most of the sound of this song), tame impala, Pinegrove, Phoebe Bridgers, queens of the Stone Age etc have been doing ridiculously incredible and raw live performances for years.
This song deserves more recognition! For me is one the best from a long time! Lightswicht, blinding lights, Bad Habits, ….. but this one is so beautiful, nostalgic, tells a story …! The sound of the guitar the piano ,,, battery, I mean everything is a perfect combination,
