Stop raising your hands to the sky when in church, I understand some might be getting 'spiritual' but honestly, I do not think it's helping, if anything it's close to speaking in tongues (Of which you're not supposed to do, right?) Also remember Matthew 6:6 "But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you." I find that when people sing in church it's quiet idiotic, I understand we want to show our love to our Lord but if he see's all and know's all, I believe He can see in your heart that you love Him so much! Also look: 1 Corinthians 14:28 "That person should keep silent in the church and speak to himself and to God. " This even says that when you're in church and want to pray or 'talk' to God, be quiet about it! Also remember to capitalize God or any of His names. Oh and for some, try and remember when you're referencing something in the Bible, don't just take that one piece that may say something.
