Hey Andy, thank you brother I appreciate it man. I really enjoy this hobby. I love building and brapping. And this ride need to get ripped! Lol appreciate you bro hope you and your fam have a Happy Easter!!
Hey Jeff, Great stuff man, you earned my sub. I've been an RC enthusiast since before I even got my first "hobby grade" RC (a Midnight pumpkin) in 1987. I have a decent sized RC collection (9 cars and trucks, 1 nitro and 8 electric and 2 boats, 1 gas and 1 nitro) and I've had so many over the years. I had a 29 CC Rovan Baja for a short time about five years ago and I really enjoyed it. I didn't really have anyone that could fix it if something broke so I sold it while it was still like new. Since then I've moved back to Arizona and have some more help so I am considering getting me another Rovan Baja soon. But because I'm quadriplegic I don't get to drive them much. Any ways, I really enjoyed the content on this video, I'm sure I'll be back to watch some more. Thanks for sharing and have a great day!
Brother Kris thank you for your support to the channel! I really appreciate it. I understand too I do not get to brap near as much as I would like. You seem good spirited. I consider people in your condition to be inspirational. God bless you my friend. Thank you again for the sub! Im woking on a new vid as I type haha.
@@eastsiderc No problem, brother Jeff! Yeah, the true RC enthusiasts could do it every day and can't do it enough. Yes, I do try to stay positive, I've learned that it gets me a lot farther than being negative, that's for sure. Regardless of what I'm going through or how much I'm going through. 25 years walking and able bodied and 23 years (next month) quadriplegic. Thanks again man! I'm looking forward to the new video, keep them coming! Take care and God bless you and yours!
@@krisjato God bless you brother my apologies. I didn’t see this comment.. RUclips does not notify us of comments to comments. I hope you’re doing well, bro.
@@eastsiderc did I miss the video showing the clutch housing/30dn 38cc clutch housing fitment issue? That was a clean fix for that one chassis hole misalignment! That truck layout is so clean.
@eastsiderc yes I always go through my rigs like you brother, I like working on them a lil more than ripping them . But when I have the time to rip its that much more enjoyable. And I have a question I want to put the new 70cc twin taylor in my blt hybrid , I'm pretty sure it's just like the outlaw hybrid that taylor has so I'm pretty sure the parts and engine will mount up, but I'm just looking for more input before I spend the money, if I can't fit that I will probably go with a 40gt
@@phillip4984 well thats just awesome brother we are a lot alike in that aspect! Of building and brapping. As for the Twin Im not 100% sure if it will fit it or not I wanna yes because its kinda baja back there. But I really cant give a definite as Ive never seen a Taylor Hybrid and Im pretty sure this Rovan is not a copy of it. This was supposed to be all baja stuff in the rear but Rovan made some of it proprietary and I have no idea why, they know better than to think on their own 😆😂
I have never had the Vesls! I like the hybrid but the baja buggy itself will always be my hands down favorite 1/5! It was a dream to have thats why I have built so many over the years. Personally I dont like it. Your pipe choices are limited and the chassis is thin. I do like it but I wouldnt buy it. The Rovan hybrid is a fun easy platform to work on in my opinion. Im gonna beat that thing with my 38 this fall!
@@eastsiderc thanks man. i guess im asking for advice on what model of the baja you would suggest to buy if you were to buy one tomorrow what model would you get? the truck or 5b?
@@chickenamburgsrcwell for my very first baja I went with the truck. Then I got the buggy later! So Im sure I would do the same thing again because I haven’t really changed .
@@eastsiderc I’ve had a lot of both. I’ve had the hpi and rovan 5t trucks and the king motors as well. @@chickenamburgsrc man you are very welcome! I love the 5B you absolutely cant go wrong with it! I would say it holds the win for the most aftermarket parts out there! 2 wheel drive ripping action. Thank you for that. I love seeing that. I hope you have a blessed week ahead.
I cant imagine it being that weak its super thick and 7075 I think. Thunder beat his to death and didn’t have any throttle issues with the body in and bashing it to pieces!
Nice close up shots. It’s Looking good son. 👍
Thanks mom! Well run it soon!
Great video Jeff! Can’t wait to see it ripping it up!
Thanks man I’m looking forward to it also ! It’s done warmed up here again I’m not liking that lol. Hope you are having a great week bro
@@eastsiderc You too brother…yea same here in Orlando we’re back to the 90’s 🥵☀️!
Nice work Jeff. It’s a solid truck! People can’t be sleeping on rovan they have been stepping their game up!
Yes they have brother! It’s a great RC for sure thank you brother Kyle !!
Thank you for another great video!
You’re welcome bro , hope you are having a great week

One day you should put a big bore in that thing I really wanna get one of those platforms
Some day I will 😆!! I mean why not! Just need to beef the drive train and it will handle it
Great Tech Vid and advise. Can’t wait to see what pipe you go with . Thanks Jeff 😎👍 keep doing these videos there greatly appreciated.
Thank you brother. The pipe came in today I’m going to use the Taylor Side pipe because it seems to work very well with this engine.
good video, liked the thread fitting ive learned that today at least! Thanks
Thanks man glad you liked it. I like to do that to hold them gear covers on. If your running black bone gears a cover really isn’t needed .
Great tech vid always helps with building or fixing our rigs thanks bro Godbless 👊👍
You’re more than welcome brother! God bless you too I thank you for that because I love reading it! 🙏🤝🤝⛽️

Just bought one thanks to you and Thunder! Does it accept the same size rx battery as a Losi 5t? Trying to order a lipo for it.
Yeah man it sure does its the same battery thats in my losi clone the 30North truck. Congrats on the new purchase its a beautiful rig

got any issue with the chassis bending and that affect the throttle? chassis is bending while i put the roll cage and thata affect throttle
Man brother Ive been so busy with other things and testing and tuning my race engine I have not had a chance to beat on my hybrid .
Wait are you sayin the chassis is that weak it bends just putting the body on :/

what transmission you using bro in your hybrid
Right now Im using the stock trans but I will most likely using a GPM 2 piece billet transmission. The three piece will not work in it unfortunately.
yes sir it wont trying to put a 55 supreme on mine having problems.
