Thanks! I have a bookshelf build for my gaming PC using turf and some other things. I was hesitant to put it up but I may if there is some interest. Glad you liked it!
Love this, I have a simplify idea but much more geeky. I want to make chubby type bins that when opened they show the controller with an led for controller when opened. Also when I open it it will set my retropie to only show systems that are for that controller. I am also going to hack all my controller to be wireless as well has have a arcade joypad that I can lay on my lap to play wireless. Arcade joy pad are all wired so I will have to get creative on that by ether hacking a wireless keyboard or getting a bluetooth adapter.
Mixing video games with a more traditional pastime such as furniture making is a really great thing to see, especially as a parent. Way to go buddy

Good luck, this sounds quite in depth!
Amazing
How about covering the hole with the controller itself, with a slim hole for the cable.
That's actually a good idea, maybe for another project. 👍
