In the Weekly Life of Andrew Shin 4

Welcome to the fourth edition of the biennial "In the Weekly Life of Andrew Shin" series that has been going on my channel since 2016. I recorded this in the same week as the one in Weekly Life 3: Thanksgiving week. It's the first time this happened. Record any later and it would've been too late, as it would've coincided with Olleh Replay. Next time, my goal is to record Weekly Life in September or some time early on.

This video has been edited incredibly quickly (uploaded only 2 days after finishing recording) and is one of the quickest vlogs I've put together. Considering the enormous amount of footage I had to go through (around 4 hours), it's even more impressive. It is a significant contrast to Weekly Life 3, which took 2 weeks to edit, many hours per day every day. Fun fact: I cut over 95% of the footage to make this video. I thank the GoPro for providing me with so much footage-it was basically the first time I had made so much use out of it.
This Weekly Life is also the shortest one in the entire series. The previous shortest was Weekly Life 1, being 23 minutes long. This video, however, is 14 minutes long. I have no idea how I was able to summarize a week into just 14 minutes, but it happened. I think it's because this vlog really focuses on the ski trip aspect of the week. It's the first time I haven't put special focus on each day.
I almost had trouble making this video because I started recording at a time when I had little motivation to make a new video. There was a lot of uncertainty whether or not this video would actually become Weekly Life 4, or whether it would fall off and I would have to record another one. There was another concern whether or not this week would be a good week to record because it involved a ski trip (which doesn't happen frequently). After all, the original purpose of the Weekly Life series is to show a regular routine in a week of my life. A ski trip wouldn't really be considered "regular." But I'm glad I stuck with this week because it made the vlog all the more interesting.
As a result, I maintain the 6-year tradition of the Weekly Life series, narrowly avoiding a close call of skipping this year. I hope you guys enjoy!
