Why do you young ones store your vinyl records that way? It’s not actually good to have them stored outside the cover/jacket! You have them at a more vulnerable point of getting damaged that way when you store them!
Rare doesn’t mean nothing when the demand is not there! You also have to realize the value will decrease instead of increase! Many of these you have are lesser known & will stay that way! They are also once was decent like Bjork but have really been forgotten as the years have went!
The limited pressings of many of these you have is due to lack of demand due to their lack of popularity in the music world! The Swift albums will be worthless once she gets exposed to you fan geeks thats she a fake! You probably won’t care though since you do the same thing she does! Fake sounds due to machines & computers is not being a musician! Can’t call yourself a producer when you have not produced anyone!
Also saw you “music” videos & will say this, do not quit your day job! We do not need anymore auto tuned/over produced entertainers that think they can sing! We need actual artists who can play instruments & have voices that stand out on their own! Voices that have a completely different sound than everyone else! Think of Joplin, Nicks & Slick how they sound completely different from each other while still singing rock music!
Okayyyyy listen bestie:
1. I store my records in protective inner/outer sleeves to protect not only the record itself, but the jacket as well. This also allows me to preserve the hype stickers when I can.
2. A lot of the people that I collect ARE in high demand; Taylor, Lana, Paramore, etc. Some albums have only been pressed once and that’s why the demand is so high (i.e. Breakaway by Kelly Clarkson was only pressed to 2,000 copies once, so far)
3. If you actually watched my videos, you’d see that I do actually produce my music and don’t use any auto-tune on my vocals. I LITERALLY have a whole live performance playlist that spans several years and documents my growth as a vocalist. I don’t see the need to use pitch correction. I also play piano and guitar and make it known whenever I’m not doing such. I ALSO do have a degree in music (specifically vocal performance) and have now played in venues such as the Hotel Café and Carnegie Hall as part of a choir, and have a growing audience around the world because I have SOMETHING that people like. And I don’t need to have produced music for someone else to call myself a producer; you wouldn’t say that about someone like Imogen Heap who has done that for YEARS.
And let’s get something else straight; part of why I do what I do because it makes people like you furious…because I find joy in music and bring other people joy through music and my other content. So please, by all means, continue to be bitter and attack me behind a screen. I’m going to succeed regardless because I’m driven and proud of what I do. Have the day you deserve 💜
