For all the rock n’ rollers the 2nd half of the album may be more appealing to you. For country fans the 1st half might be more appealing to you. For music lovers the entire album WILL be appealing to you
For someone who loves rock, metal and country, this record feeds all of my beasts!
Two great genres
No more better words
The same reply I was gonna make Tyler, but you said it better! Awesome album for sure!!
@@daverawks exactly!
HARDY just seems like the most grounded, most humblest dude out there today. Massive fan of his 🤘🏼
Agreeeeed 🎉🎉🎉
Sounds like his producer pushed him to bring out the artistry within himself that HARDY knew he had but was shy to fully show the world. It took me until this interview to realize it was even a "country" record.
As a lifelong country and rock fan, I did not expect to love this album this much. It's the best rock album I've heard in about 5 years and the best country album I've heard in about 15 years. Every track is great and is absolutely flawless.
Absolutely love this!
What rock album 5 years ago was best or as good?
Hardy is bringing country fans and rock fans together ! Love to see it 😊
Country music has mixed with rock since 60's
Love Hardy, he speaks straight out and never seems to be sticking to a script or playing a role. He always has interesting things to say and I love hearing how he pieces his experiences together.
This Christian mom over forty not only loved SOLD OUT, but was anxiously waiting for you to put out a song like that. I am a huge country fan, but more than anything I am a fan of good music and song writing. I have been a huge Hardy fan from day one. I went to concerts and screamed every word to every song when he was an unknown opening act. He puts on the best show, hands down, across all genres. The last concert I went to was in Atwood, TN at a small dirt track. I was probably the oldest person, especially the oldest woman, in the crowd that knew all the lyrics to every song. I screamed and sang and danced my butt off the entire night. I was hoarse by the time I left. I have seen Aerosmith, Charlie Daniels, Stevie Miller Band, Tim McGraw, etc. None of them hold a light to a Hardy concert. This dude is a lyrical genius and a hugely talented artist. Just keep being authentically you, Hardy. The true fans will honor that and stay with you for life.
What does being over 40 and Christian have to do with anything at all
If you think Tim McGraw is country you need to turn in your belt buckle and boots.
@@PatchesOHoulihan01 it is who I am. So that is why it has something to do with it. No need to bring negativity to something positive someone is trying to put into the world.
@@Juan_Wick00 I am not even a Tim McGraw fan any longer. Haven't been in years since he started his liberal crap. It was many years ago when I saw him in concert. I not once in my post called him country. I was simply was stating that I have been to many concerts, big and small, from many genres and Hardy put on the best show ever! It was something positive I was putting out in the world. Can't we just leave it at that and let people share positivity without looking and seeking out things to be negative about everything someone posts??!!! Based on your negative comment, I doubt you are even really country. REAL cowboys and cowgirls have honor, morals and treat people with decency and respect until they give them a reason not to. And as far as my boots: mine are covered in manure and dust, not rhinestones and bling. Me and my family live on a five generation ranch. We are COUNTRY!! So don't talk to me about what is or isn't country. I live it every day.
Hearing HARDY linking up with Jeremy and Cody makes me dream of all of the metal collabs possible. This album is incredible. HARDY is the best, and I'm super excited to see where he goes from here. Gonna be spinning the record for a LONG TIME.
I've never been a fan of modern country music, but i LOVE everything HARDY does. Ever since I heard his cover of "Blurry," I knew this dude had potential to do so much more! I'm so stoked he's blowing up now! I will do anything to work with artists like this!
Yes, same with 'Blurry!'
It simply blow my mind how each keeps outdoing himself with his writing. I’m closer to 60 than my 50’s now and this guy’s work is on full rotation everyday in the shop.
Wow, I really appreciate the quality of this interview! Hardy is absolutely a gem in the industry these days, as humble as they come. Good ol' country boy deserves all the success in the world.
I cannot wait to see this show October 19th in st Augustine... On my birthday! Started becoming a fan about a year before mocking bird and the crow came out and this album won it for me.
I am watching this for the first time and I am 61 and a mom and a church goer, and Hardy, I totally love EVERYTHING you do!!! You can do no wrong as far as I am concerned, you are an amazing songwriter and singer, and please just keep doing what you do, loooooove it ♥♥♥♥
Hardy talking about my children my bride, Gideon and born of Osiris and being super big in country is badass🔥🤘
So glad they chose him for the Rumble theme song. Fell in love with the sound instantly.
Hardy,new fan bro,61 years old,love your music man,rock on.
Lovin’ this album! I’m a 50somethin’ Mom & Grandma and I’ve been jammin around my house all afternoon blastin’ this! The mix is great, love the variety. Follow where your heart N soul takes you in EVERYTHING you do!
Same. 😎
I’m 61 and cannot wait to see him play live in two weeks in Australia
Props to you guys for the way you run this show. Conversations between you guys and Hardy felt raw and real. Wish more people would take notes. Also, the new album is absolutely perfect!
Thank you Hardy for the amazing album and RockFeed for the interview
Thank you for watching!
This 56 year old LOVES SOLD OUT!! You coming out singing it is THE BEST!! It sets the tone for the show, which is 🔥🔥🔥
Rock on Hardy!!! Love the mockingbird and the crow. Amazing album and huge fan of yours!!!! I grew up in Mississippi also. Love the state!!! Keep on Rollin brother!!!
I'm an old rocker and a country boy so when I heard mockingbird and the crow- that was it for me! The video and the music went together perfectly. I've spent the last week finding everything Hardy on RUclips so here we are 😂 Love the vibe dude
I ❤ Rock music. Every band Hardy mentioned I love. In 1999 my son was 5yrs old and I took him to see Megadeth.. I'm over 40 and I love Hardys music 💯
Im grew up metal with Megadeth and Metallica. Later prog with Dream Theater. Im 43 and have grown to love lyrics and singers, Hardy touches everything right now I want to hear. Close friend went to a show and said I should check him out. Glad he did. Im in Canada.
Words to live by if your work hard and are just nice to people good things come to you ! Hardy deserves all the the things !
My daughter introduced me to Hardy and I love him. I like the mix of rock and country. I’ve been listening to him everyday now. His songs tend to stick.
I am in my 50’s and I still love all those groups you mentioned! I really love the mix of country and rock that you sing. Keep it coming please!
All love to Hardy and Rock Feed! It's cool to get brought up and hear such kind words, we appreciate it. Props to Hardy for blending genres so well and being who he wants to be musically!
Much love to you and the fellas in BOO Lee! \m/
Hardy's music literally was like digging into the depths of my childhood. Songs like Truck, Boots, literally any song I can remember a time in my life when those songs are familiar. But this......This record is nothing short of perfect. The country stuff is amazing. The Rock stuff is HARD but still has that country vibe. Rock fans won't get through the first half and country fans won't like the second half. if you are a fan of both the most amazing songwriting in the industry and an album that truly takes you on a journey that gradually gets harder as it progresses. Genius.
I'm close to 60 and I LOVE Hardy! Perfect blend of rock and country
🤘🔥🙏
I'm close to 187 and absolutely adore hardy
We are all lucky to have a guy like Hardy to write and perform country and rock and be so humble and genuine! Great work brother!
HARDY is the best the new. Album is lit
I love Hardy! He's one of my favorite artists and his show in Irving Texas was hands-down one of the best shows I've been to!
I can vouch for the part about his dad. I met him in the beer line up in the cheep seats of a Kid Rock show in Nashville. He was so proud of his son. It was about 2 weeks before Up Down came out. He watched a good portion of the show with the wife and I. Mike is a great guy. We had some great conversations. But he is a rock guy, for sure!
Can't wait til HARDY goes full country-deathcore. If you ever need a banjo player, I'm your guy
These are my top 2 genres dude. That would be awesome
Love this man and his talent!! He just has a incredible gift that gives us music lovers actual good music to listen to! Seen him 4 times this year and not one show was disappointing!! Can’t wait for future music from him!
@KeithUrbanmusic137shutup bot
The new album is GREAT! Keep it rockin country boy!
Hardy has never written a song that has missed. Dude is a musical genius. I’ve seen him live 5 times and it’s the absolute best show every single time
The whole album is BADASS!!
The Chariot and MyChildren MyBride. Love Hardy more everyday!
Absolute killer interview, The American dream, never working on Mondays love this guy.
This album is what America needed right now. 💯% I’ll be blasting this on the boat this summer, and in my truck year round!
Hardy Puts On The Best Concert I Have Ever Been Too.
Love Me Some Hardy ❣️
This guy is so special! Just fuckin love him❤ and absolutely love how him Morgan and Ernest stick together so tightly in this industry.
Emo me loves a day to remember. So hardy and Jeremy together got me stoked.
I’ve been listening to the mockingbird and the crow since the singles rolled out and I hope hardy does more covers in the future cause his cover of blurry by puddle of mudd was awesome
Love the new album
Yes!!!
Thank you for bringing me BACK to my rock roots!! LOVE ALL YOUR MUSIC!! I'll be singing along with you tonight in concert and so damn excited.Fingers crossed for Give Heaven Some Hell, my FAV 🤞🤠🤘♥
I love finding new artists like this. I first listened to Hardy about a week ago when I heard "wait in the truck" . Such a good song.
1997 Aerosmth Nine Lives tour! My first concert too....hell yeah
That’s our Mississippi guy! Philadelphia Ms. His writing and his singing is awesome!
Such a great album
Yes! 🤘
One of the best small venue concerts my 53 year old self has ever been to. Last summer. JD Legends in Franklin, Ohio. Wife and I were probably on the much older side of the crowd but we had an absolute BLAST. Been dying for him to come back around. The energy was CRAZY.
JD legends is a amazing venue. I saw Cody jinks there a couple years back and it was great
Love Hardy, you can do both country & rock. Your Fans love it ❤
it was a little wild hearing him say "I write douchey bro country songs for radio, and it sucks"
It's funny that all of my favorite morgan wallen songs are written by hardy, honestly makes since this guy is one of the greatest song writers and artists of our generation love the lyrics love the punchlines love the damn vibes so much easily my favorite artist of all time
Morgan wallen is for butt pirates
I’m from Carthage,Mississippi which is like 15 minutes from Philly and it’s changed a lot but still a good area of a hometown
My first CD was Garth Brooks. Then Brooks & Dunn. After that was AC/DC. Soon after was my change with Nirvana, Godsmack, Slipknot, Korn, Limp Bizkit. Then Linkin Park, Coal Chamber, Deftones, SOAD. Now I'm into stuff like August Burns Red, Bury Tomorrow, Volumes, Whitechapel. So it's crazy to think I bought Mockingbird & The Crow
If your first CD was wokepedo garth, I'm surprised your even a hardy fan
OMG I absolutely love this album. I’ve been a little out of touch for music lately. And Rock is my roots, but I’ve been a little softer with the country. And I found this album and I am in love.! Makes me feel young again I was dying laughing in the interview when he said he was worried about the pushback of the 40 and over ladies in the church. Well I’m a big God-praising woman not much of a church girl. And 53. And I jam to this whole album rock out man I love it keep making me some more music. My house is really clean cleaning to sold out. Thank you for letting me find music I like again.❤❤❤❤❤❤. By the way, the type of music that you said you like is what I was driving around listening to in my 30s like the age you are now. So yeah, keep on rocking it.
I'm in my mid 60's and I love the album.
You’re never too old to rock my friend! Never stop loving this music. ♥️🤘
I'm in my late 300's and love the album as well
Tell HARDY he doesn’t know us 50 yr old moms! We grew up on hard rock, and MTV TOO! Seriously? Tell HARDY he needs to write about us moms in a song like POST Malone. Look for me at the Tabernacle in Atlanta… it will be my 6th time seeing HARDY. AND EVERY-TIME but 1 was in the PIT. @hardy ❤❤❤❤
HARDY.....
Music is the Soul.
✌️ ❤️ Foo Fighters
Can’t wait to see Hardy at Welcome To Rockville!!!
The fact this man mentioned Alter Bridge and specifically Blackbird makes him a hero in my book. I’m just really discovering this guy and so far I LOVE IT!!! I’m almost 40 but DAMN I LOVE THIS SHIT!!!
Alter bridge is definitely for those Freddie mercury Elton John types..
You are such an amazing and completely down to earth human and a powerful songwriter! I ❤your sense of humor and wit! I got a kick outta ‘Psycho’ video and have shared w/like minds! Your Mock/Crow album idea kicksass and 1st tour venue swap on same night is so original and sick! Keep delivering the good shit and Ill keep listening! Shout out to the Mrs for keeping you a happy man & to you for appreciating her! 💯💚♾️
We love Hardy in AZ. He even gets played on KUPD from time to time.
Great fuckin album 🤘🏼🥲
I'm 34 & hearing y'all talk about discovering rock with Creed, Alter Bridge, Linkin Park, Nickelback, etc is so cool. It was the same for me. I've only just now gotten into Hardy but man, he is a great guy. And I think he's 100% right about the back up plan thing.
Creed and alter Bridge are definitely bands for the alphabet community
Facts ^ 😂 Those are not actual rock bands. It's cupcake shit
I love the interview Hardy is amazing 🎶😉✨✌🏽
this album is such a good mix of 2 genres, not normally a rock fan but i really dig this album for the country overtones through the rock parts, plus hardys such a good writer
Yes it’s bringing new fans to rock I hope!
Absolutely love this dude and can't wait to see who all he colabs with in the future.
Incredible interview…❤ love the story songs which is why I was drawn to Springsteen and then Eric Church and now yourself
Sincerely,
ol lady over 40 lol
Yo Thank for sharing and thank you Rock feed
Dude Hardy is a badass I just now discovered you and listening to radio song and mockingbird are amazing nasty breakdowns love it!
HARDY is going down in history rock/country, he’s someone I look up to and just his style is just sweet, I wish nothing but the best future for him, and would definitely like to shake his hand one day 🤘
Wait till you hear him live. Stuck it up on live tv and his band I’m pretty is just fake playing the instruments. Lol that shit will not fly in the metal world and he will get tossed out quickly
@@davidsparger3038Wait till you hear me fart through a JBL partybox speaker live
Great interview. Love Hardy. This was great
I’m a Rock and metal fan. I’m a KOE Wentzel fan
Yessss! Never thought I’d see Koe mentioned in these comments 😂
Do Both!!! Love Your Tunes!!

He mentioned my children my bride that makes me love him more
25:09 I absolutely love this guy.
Now that's a real interview wow
Thank you! ♥️
The rock side is great!! Like the country, love the rock/metal. Metal head from the 80's.
My first show was the Eagles in 79!!!
I get like a kid rock vibe off him and he Def reminds me of Eric church.. this man stayed in the background the best thing he ever did was come to light best thing that happened for country n rock n roll since I don't know when
Thank you for the video hey man we take you. rock always take the different one the one that's different after listing to rock my whole life you are welcome in rock buddy
Name dropping The chariot, he’s legit 💪🏾
im 46 and i jammed to that in my 20s
Hardy is a legend!
Seems like a super cool guy. Great interview!
Buddy my family's from Philadelphia Ms. My Aunt is Janice Hardy.
As I've gotten older and listened to more music than what I was "supposed to" when I was a kid, I've realized that country and rock are different faces of the same coin. And honestly that's what has gotten me into county. I used to hate it but it was that I didn't understand it. There is definitely always time for artists to be themselves. Everyone loves a mix. And if you have a mix with your artistry then even better! Be different, and be you. Fuck what anyone else thinks. The right people will always gravitate. And haters always gonna hate lol
This album reminds me of Saliva.
Just saw hardy at gulf coast jam this past week shit was on some other level vs everyone else there
Awesomely done love it.
Very humble.
Michael hardy! He sent an autographed album to my son for his wedding gift!.
🔥 album!!! Hardy is the man
Dude is a beast
Incredible interview….❤so drawn to you like I have been to Springsteen and later Eric Church. Maybe it’s the stories in your songs or maybe it’s your character. Perhaps both.
Sincerely,
ol lady over 40 😂
