That 'facemask' was a normal stiff arm where the tacklers chest is supposed to be, and without a grabbing motion at no point is any helmet contact where a helmet isn't supposed to be, by the will of the defender no less, a facemask. The reason we "got away" with PI is because the PI was two way in all of the instances where it could have been called, OR the defender was clearly going for the ball and NOT the receiver and should NEVER have been called. The rams got a holding call, that the two refs that FLAGGED THE PLAY COULD NOT HAVE SEEN FROM THE ANGLE THEY WERE LOOKING, and a PI within 5 yards that stopped turnover on downs and allowed them to retake the last lead of the game. I wouldn't have minded even the ref ball if it wasn't close to begin with, but we were WINNING and they decided to make two otherwise totally illegal calls.

The rams got a holding call, that the two refs that FLAGGED THE PLAY COULD NOT HAVE SEEN FROM THE ANGLE THEY WERE LOOKING, and a PI within 5 yards that stopped turnover on downs and allowed them to retake the last lead of the game. I wouldn't have minded even the ref ball if it wasn't close to begin with, but we were WINNING and they decided to make two otherwise totally illegal calls.

We aren't upset that we got flags that costed us the game, we are mostly upset because of the poor officiating from both sides. The game was nice but the last 2 minutes was definitely ref ball.
