6:46 “漢奸頭” is translated as “a Korean celebrity”. It's not very precise. "漢奸" is a derogatory term referring to Chinese who betray their national interests to foreign invaders. In China's film and television dramas with the theme of the Sino-Japanese War in World War II, such people often have a mid-part haircut, which is called "traitor head" by some contemporary Chinese.

As a beginner Chinese learner, girl in the black blazer was a godsend! She actually speaks clearly and enunciates, most other people in the video speak so fast and slurred I can barely understand them :(
My mother passed for Asian several times , she had natural black hair and dark blue eyes, she had people come up to her on the street and speak their language and they thought she was rude because she didn't answer back .. she had to have her eyelids shortened , she was small and delicate . She was born in the south and her dad was very dark . My grandson is part American Indian , and he too looks Asian but he is 6'6 . I think this world is one big melting pot . I think the Chinese people are the most beautiful ones
I agree about what he said about healthy skin. I'm asian and I eat a lot of veggies so my skin has a natural blush to it and has different tones. To me, it's not that 'tan' asian skin isn't pretty it is just that if you don't eat healthy it looks flat and olive-y.

I think everyone is talking about "glabella" and also am surprised with the list of make up / skin care products these guys use. I can't even find time to apply a face cream peacefully. 😅
😂😂😂
I wouldn't exactly call all of them make up products. A lot of the products were for skincare so I don't really think that counts. The actual make up products they said they use were foundation and eyebrow pencils.
Natsurei now OKAY? 😅
@@crochet-and-coffee Sorry, didn't mean to sound criticizing. The connotations are just a little different. Thank you ^^
soulofwhale v They were mostly skin care stuff and only like 1-2 make up products. He uses more stuff than me and I am a girl.
Handsome chinese guys are on another level handsome though, like no fancy fashion no fancy hairstyle needed. their face structure is enough.
@@OpiumBride oh my God, I'm soo GLAD you mentioned him. He is so effortlessly handsome
Hot Chinese guys are on another level entirely
yeah a lot of these guys had clear skin, great jawline and great facial features ngl bout it
Yess I agree
Not interested, they're not brave enough like 🇺🇸 Trumpp
I'm a Chinese girl, and I think the guy wearing sunglasses is an ideal one!! Much better than the guy in the thumbnail.
@Mary Anne ???
U meant the other guy in the thumbnail? Yes ofc
Totally agree! I would say the same thing as a Chinese guy. That guy is close to an ideal one for both sex in China.
Chinese guy here and I agree. I don't think it's his looks that are captivating but more his charisma and confidence, if that makes sense.
Mr. Pepe Yes and it is much more than just physical looks but your charisma and many other things.
To the one who reads this I hope you have a bright and great future. Stay positive and never ever give up in life. Keep fighting for your dreams. ✌🏼
It's a simple comment, but sometimes you need just that to keep you going. Thanks, dude!
shut up gaylord
No matter what ... believe in yourself bro ... all the best 2u2👍
Yay
2:07 lmao that guy next to her
8:55 THIS DUDE IS CRACKING ME UP
i think it's nice that there's not a consensus on what is the ideal standard among the interviewees. I think it creates less pressure and judgement.
Okay I must be realllyyyy dark if they consider themselves dark 😶
Same, my family purely consists of yellow Asians but I'm brown enough to get asked whether or not I have some African ancestors.
Same
Asians are brown yellow and yeah darker than European white skin. Everyone else besides European are shades of brown. But be proud to be dark brown or yellow brown or white. It’s all different.
@@Elmy_Kiu I'm guessing you're South East Asian
Cherry_ Pop exactly the same 🙄
Just wanna say that this guy here (3:10) is beautiful.
6:42 you mean like the dude right next to you? Lmao
Basically there is no definite beauty standard, you can be good looking just being yourself (through other small influences of course)
Nightcor EDM
👍👍👍
@@factsoverfear9771 asia doesnt only consist of china, korea, japan, etc u know....
There kinda is. It's evolution to find certain features more attractive like symmetry.
That does not work here in Asia, sry
@@factsoverfear9771 asian men like skinny girl
6:46 “漢奸頭” is translated as “a Korean celebrity”. It's not very precise. "漢奸" is a derogatory term referring to Chinese who betray their national interests to foreign invaders. In China's film and television dramas with the theme of the Sino-Japanese War in World War II, such people often have a mid-part haircut, which is called "traitor head" by some contemporary Chinese.
不对啊,这个词汇在中国是起源于抗日电视剧中,几乎叛国者和汉奸都是中分,主要针对的是日本,并不涉及韩国,韩国二战时期也是受到军国主义迫害的国家
Most of the Chinese guys interviewed here are more handsome than the lecturer
The lecturer looks like an overgrown boy lol
The black cap guy is cute tho 😂
Jing jing Jang no comment
From my perspective (as an Asian), that professor is gorgeous. But it seems like westerners can’t really understand our social beauty standard.
Lee I’m African and I agree that he’s super handsome, I think it’s just because most westerners see his look as “feminine” for some reason
It was such a fun and honest interview..and I loved to hear the tone of the Chinese people there , it has such a good melody to it..also practically drooling over the guy in the black tee n cap..n the blue shirt one was cute😍..

Pls do one on girl standards in China next!!
Cumulus Humilis not really. They have their own makeup style, and clothing style. They can easily go to the mall and pick whatever they want because that’s what they all do?? And for makeup, they usually stick to brown eye shadow or very light ones.
@Cumulus Humulis the older ladies usually where like red lipstick and darker eyeshadow. The younger ones have similar makeup to Korea but a little different.
7:33 Makeup?! I don’t wear any makeup
Kim Jong-un Oh hey you know English
Dear leader is the most beautiful on earth.
Salute to our "supreme'' leader!
Kim Jong-un I do not wear make up too Kim the dear leader.
Kim jong- un I am a fan of your music video gangnam style
yo their answers were really good though and had a lot of thought. and when the interviewer asked why they could all give answers. thanks again Asian Boss
Im Korean, and I think Chinese people are beautiful:)
Jason Ki thank u😆Koreans are beautiful and handsome as well
Im sry but Korean are not beautiful
thank u♥️
I went on a trip to Korea😆
Koreans were handsome and pretty on average.
The fashion sense was very good, too.
Jason Ki I’m English and Chinese and I think everyone is beautiful
Koreans are usually really tall, what do you guys eat?
Is it only me who find each guy is handsome here😍
Lubna Khan I agree. Which is confusing to me why so many Asian women chase after white guys all the time. Not cool
@@factsoverfear9771 😂😂
Naomi Powell I don’t and still prefer Asian guys despite growing up in America. However, love is love and your ethnicity should not determine that.
I thought the same..handsome men interviewed in this video 😊
...also being unafraid to say another male is handsome, a few wear light makeup and use skin care, etc just adds to my opinion of their confidence level...extra points for sure 🌟🌟🌟
@@TrinhNguyen-sh4fj Allow me to explain, US movies and TV shows have done their part, so some young females, especially in large cities, want to try something new...that's all there to it.
"human beings are visual creatures" very well said. Looks does matter
Everyone has a different perspective on looks but I think Korea is generally more good looking then other countries , because media influenced many young generations into thinking this way. However, I say there are also a lot of good looking people in China, but not as much in Japan.
I'm curious with the sun glasses guy looks without his sun glasses 😆
Such a stylish group. Shanghaiers have gotten more and more sophisticated.
Coming from an asian girl, I don't think the university instructor is good-looking at all.
asian as in japanese? korean? Indian??
Which part of Asia since there are different beauty standards
King 😂 😂 why?? Are u also Asian??
He kinda cute for me. But the interviewees were attractive too
That doesn’t mean jackshit since 90 percent of asian girls are white worshippers
Honestly though, China is so big, you can’t really define the ideal look. This video had a few varying responses and applies to the bigger city folks in China 😂
I visited a friend in Guilin and their definition of “handsome” was rather different that the “pale, narrow-face” appeal haha
A guy with a healthy body, nice face, good heart is always the ideal man in my books.
All I got from this video is, everyone has a different type. So just be yourself, you’ll fine someone for you
i like the guy with the glasses . his answers were logical and made most sense. especially with the skin color
Chinese men seem to have more interesting faces than Koreans due to variety. KOREAN men almost all have the same faces and hairstyle. In K dramas it's difficult to remember actors' names because almost all look alike
Not true. Rascist
Hot damn! I'm realizing that, as an Asian American woman, my skincare routine is loosing out to some Chinese men :D Need to level up!
🤣
7:09 what's she REALLY talking about here eh.. ?
she knows what's she's talking about haha
6:48 They translate "Han jian" which means traitors to "Korean celebrity" ?
Why traitors?
heavy sweetness In Chinese tv drama, the traitor of Chinese in anti-Japanese war usually have that hair style
Like a flat top army hairstyle, that's more manly.
@@heavysweetness6938 the characters "traitors" sound similar to "korean celebrities" when spoken fast, and the translator did not do a good job, during the Japanese occupation, some Chinese were turned and became traitors with similar haircut which was a thin center parting hairstyle.
No, he said hanjiantou 韩剪头 where 韩 is from 韩国 (Korea) and 剪头 from 剪头发 (haircut) 😄
guy with the cap and denim shirt is soooo cute
Omg so many of the guys getting interviewed here are pretty good looking!
The ideal man in Botswana is light skinned (we call it "yellow bone"), has a deep voice, is tall (around 170-180cm) with a beard and no leg hair...not skinny and not too muscular
*interviewer dude:* what’s the worst outfit for a man?
*lady:* black skinny jeans, and also those loafers
*me:* nOOOOOOOOOOOO
Loafers is one worst history of fashion trends until these days in my opinion idk why they like 😞
Thanks for making this, very informative!
Every Chinese has its own different ideas, which is different from what the Western media told us
Of course I know what is asia called
Western media is full of lies
Now , i want a video interview people in usa and brazil asking them if they get a lot of Plastic surgeries?
And how many people they know who did
Most of these men are so good looking.
As an American, I was surprised to find out how much makeup those guys wear. I've never worn any in my life and couldn't imagine doing that
You should ask the same question in South East Asia and India
In Central Asia too, that guy's looks in the picture would not be considered handsome but average or mostly likely worst than average. It's like stylish, but not so type of handsome guy.
nj pro many chinese have beards but most don’t like it
India is rich in diversity, I myself is North east Indian who looks like Chinese
In South East Asia and India, most celebrities and stars are pale skin, so I think they also consider pale skin good-looking.
@@aynuralbek6474 As a Chinese male, I totally agree with you.
When I was growing up in China I started to have facial hair in middle school. Everybody was calling me "Gorillas" (cuz of the hair), I didn't care until one day my teacher told me to shave it off. Fast forward 8 years ago before I left China, my old classmates told me they (the boys) wish they can grow facial hair.
Interesting
The first couple (idk if they’re actually a couple but 🤷🏼♀️) are fricken GORGEOUS.
not only are they a couple, but in my head they've married and have 5 grandchildren, one of which has graduated from college, and didn't pay for their senior class gift

As a beginner Chinese learner, girl in the black blazer was a godsend! She actually speaks clearly and enunciates, most other people in the video speak so fast and slurred I can barely understand them :(
6:30 As a Chinese guy, I personally detest bangs, especially the mushroom cut. I always feel wrong when my hair covers my forehead.
