      @@dezmitchell5329 If the EDB is not very long, yes a moccasin can take it down. The EDB needs only to be about 80-90% of the Moccasins length. Then the moccasin can overpower it. If the EDB is of a decent size, the moccasin won't likely fuck with it. A snake is interested in killing something it can eat. Otherwise it wastes its venom and it takes a good deal of time before them sacks fill again.

    What I don't understand, is why the rattler went right up to the larger Water Moccasin as if it didn't see it, while the Water Moccasin had no problem seeing it. No viper, or any predator is going to pass up prey that apparently wants to die. Actually the rattler is a rather large snake it's self and has been around long enough that it should have seen the danger! What a easy pray this was!! Dinner presented it's self.

    Rattlesnakes aren’t snake eaters to begin with and doesn’t have much experience in fighting other snakes too. Plus this rattlesnake is juvenile. Also that’s a fully-grown cotton-mouth and a snake eater at that.

      @Essasis 4 года назад +2

      @@AlexSciChannel that isn't true. Most moccasins, maybe, but I've personally had experiences with them trying to attack me unprovoked. One timed it's falling from a branch into my boat. I would say it jumped into the boat but obviously... it fell gracefully we'll say and tried to strike. Thankfully my reaction avoided a situation.

      They’re the baddest of venomous snakes in America, but the speckled king snake is the best of them all when it comes to eating them !! Cotton Mouths stink really bad. They have a pungent odor. That’s why all of those flies were all over him ! Everyone I’ve ever seen and that’s several hundred always have flies all over them !
