honestly in my experience of class wars. RTD was the only way 1 side was gonna break out of getting spawncamped. 1 player getting powerplay while the other player getting godmode on the same team gives a fighting chance for the blu team to at least capture the first cap and even then it's still not a guaranteed.

An idea i have for a class wars shakeup I've had for a while is sub-class wars. So fat scout vs demoknight. Battle medic vs huntsman. Trolldier vs boxing heavy. Gunspy vs battle engi. The possibilities are endless

RTD is just a joke honestly. The two times I've gotten powerplay was as Medic with the Overdose and Engineer with the Rescue Ranger. Definitely combat classses

The server owner decided that having massive class vs class wars would be too fun so they added RTD for a nice dose of bullshit

Battle engi and huntsman are basically free wins if its subclass only
