hojo is definitly a psycho but the real evil of ff7 is jenova,we stil havent seen the nibelheim incident from sephiroths perspective but my theorie has always been that jenova took controle of sephiroth.
Hey the more I think and see, the more I think that Sephiroth was influenced by Jenova as well!! Also, Jenova can be a character from FFX if you played it
@@sindelio in the past the graphics where not good enough to show it although him going from a hero to a villain in about 5 min was already a red flag for me specialy since in the lore jenova is knows to manipulate and controle even the cetra. and in this remake at moments it does look like sephiroth is fighting something from taking over his mind specialy in those flashes where we see his eye and the name jenova. and just before he says its time to go see mother he is standing stil and panting as if he is fighting of someone invading his mind,then he just goes to correct his posture and leaves like he lost the fight and this is now jenova sephiroth. i might be wrong but i see all the sighns,and why would he just kill innocent villagers when he is mad at shinra its just weird he could have just left with cloud/zack and go attack shinra kill the people that lied to him and go do jobs on his own with zack and cloud,it makes no sense for him to just go nuts on everyone.
I agree@@Marcustheseer , a hero and overall stable guy got too much of a turnaround in character, too fast. From the devs perspective, they will keep this a secret, because that's how Jenova works, creating images and illusions, so Sephiroth seems like the bad guy, but in reality the dude may be another victim of Jenova. Did you see Yunalesca from FFX? She has very similar powers to Jenova, and we know FF7 and 10 are connected by Shinra (confirmed by Kitase himself), so another interesting thought is that Yunalesca could have become Jenova. However that's more of a thought, whereas Jenova controlling Sephiroth seems far more likely to me.
In the book about Advent Children,"Advent Children Réunion Files",the devs told clearly that the return of Sephiroth Is not for his own Will,but for Jenova's Will...Which means,obviously,that Jenova Is the dominant.But i believe that in this remake,One of the goals of Sephiroth Is to regain his free Will and set himself free from that monster....Is not a mistery how much the devs cares about his charachter,and how mucho are trying to male us understand and empatize with him...
@@federicamacchia1656 thx for the reply, I couldn't go through the entire compilation yet, still missing the novels/books. The compilation is complex, and it really amplifies the experience if you have the time to go over all of it. Rebirth is soon upon us, we will have some answers, but considering who is behing the game, I expect even more questions at the end xD 1 week to go!
You forgot Dirge of Cerberus. Spoiler alert Hojo isn't dead. He came back in Weiss body. It was done by transferring his mind into a new body. Even in death the man is still a menace. Also I think im the only person in the world who likes his character. But in real life, I wouldn't be anywhere near that freak.
