Sam, I just have to say, you have such a gift-not just for understanding the mechanics of Human Design but for really seeing people. Growing up in a narcissistic household, I was constantly told what I wasn’t good at. Even when I brought positive change to my family, I never got credit for it. So having you reflect back my strengths felt deeply healing. I’ve always carried this “inferior” narrative, especially as a Sacral being who secretly wished I was a Projector. I never felt like that high-energy, constantly buzzing type. But you helped me see that my energy is more intentional, and that’s exactly how it’s meant to be. When I do readings, I love making them collaborative-inviting clients to ask questions and shape the flow. I never want to talk at people. I want them to feel safe, seen, and heard, like we’re truly doing the reading together. Then, when you picked up on the melancholy (I have 10 melancholy gates!) and my receptive mind-and called out how I tend to overdeliver or give more than I receive-it really hit home. I’ve realized that’s why I prefer working with people I’ve built a connection with. You reminded me that it’s not about chasing some big, “OMG this lights me up” moment. For me, it’s about doing what feels satisfying and brings contentment. Thank you for seeing me and reflecting back what I’ve known deep down. It means more than you know.
There is a bit of similarity in our charts- 2/4 Sacral Generator, undefined ego with a hanging 40, receptive mind, lots of individual circuitry..I want you to know I see you! I quit the police department in 2022 and moved to Sedona and become an HD reader (at 43!). If this feels like a calling to you, do it! The 34-20 is the busiest of all channels but you have it purely in your nodes so it's about your environment/perspective. Interesting chart. I wonder what Ra would tell you.
Also rewatching this, as I always get more, or another layer when I rewatch or re-listen to something. And when you talked about how as a receptive I need to be pulled from, and putting that in my intake form for readings, it really felt so aligned for me. And the pressure sandwich! spot on.
