Visit of the von der Leyen Commission to Zagreb, Croatia

On 9 and 10 January 2020, Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, and the college of Commissioners met with the Croatian officials to mark the start of Croatia's presidency of the Council of the EU. This is the very first time the country takes the reins of this presidency, since it became member of the EU in 2013. Ursula von der Leyen considered that “our success also depends on [the Croatian] success” in such task.
