I learned basic Makerpen skills (while on screenmode) just to put my dorm radio in a good spot and freeze it there
Won't think the makerpen will go away or be replaced since so many of the builders (me included) don't have a PC to gain access to rrs
But the entire thing could fall apart if they only focus on rec room studio, and the maker pen and that’s where they’re heading with every single update. They either update the maker or forget about the fan basin all of the rooms relying on the fan based to make room so they can keep making money every single day for over priced advert items.

Yes. It will. This sounds kind of silly but I hope it does quicker so the game becomes appealing to potential players.

Probably not since the maker pen is essential for making models and doing the little itty bitty details in a map and even where circuit's should be placed (depends on where you place them) but the maker pen being replaced is very unlikely, and will probably stay in rec room forever and even if it did get removed, it will halt ALL creation of new games except for people with RR studio, and it would alienate all platforms that are not PC, Heavily, and it would make rec rooms reputation go into a nose dive overnight.

So, not replace per se but due to the endless bugs that never get patched creators are highly encouraged to not use it (+ ease of use goes to RRS)

i like rec room studio its better in most ways also i think most recroom studio rooms are less laggy on quest because you dont need hundreds to even thousands of different objects to create a map thats detailed you can get it down to a couple models
my answer: no
rec room studio will NEVER replace the maker pen, as the maker pen is vital to rec room studio either way. if it wasnt, then the maker pen would still reign superior as rec room studio is not as accessible as the maker pen and never will be.

Sure, Rec Room Studio dose make rooms a lot harder to load but that's the creators fault. See, everything rendered in a game is rendered in triangles. Every type of shape can be rendered with only triangles (except circles), it is the creators job to make sure to keep the amount of triangles as a minimal as possible to make the room have better performance. There are many ways to optimize the room, for example, only rendering certain parts of the game or lowering texture quality.
I talk to many dev's (Like superbouncyball and many others) and they are working very hard to make sure low end devices don't crash all of a sudden, and with the new rooms 2.0 rooms they are more optimize for rec room studio and 3d models. The dev's are working on a very big project that will make rooms load A LOT faster, but it is safe to say that the maker pen or any other tools will not be replaced.
As for inventions... They better be removed. It is so easy to steal someone else's work with inventions and is one of the main reasons why there are so many low quality rooms.
And no, RRS is nothing like Roblox Studio.

truthfully i think the recroom style looks very shabby. like ive never seen a recroom build and been able to fully appreciate it because it looks so.. recroom. just like roblox, recroom coudl seriously benefit from more realistic games and horror experiences etc rather than trying so desperately to hold onto its style. roblox has evolved past needing to do that and we need recroom to do the same thing where theres a healthy balance with a clear split in the types of games rather than needing to kind of check out every game first to see

They retired LimitsV2 to force Rooms2.0 on us.... we can't even clone the LimitsV2 Rooms we own! Which means we can't have backups if our games get mass false reported... smh
