OMG #GrapaToGo I love it! Laughed so hard at this 😂 miss you guys, I hope to see you again ❤ sending hugs from Pacifica and thanks a lot for mentioning me and Arun for the service, we're so happy to find people like you, we do our best for you to enjoy the cruise 😊
Hi! Just discovered your channel while searching for Costa Pacifica reviews and views. My last (and only) cruise with Costa was 2008 and it was so horrid (they allowed people to carry diapered babies into the adults pool and into jacuzzis....it was so disgusting seeing stuff leaking out of the diapers into the water....anyway...). I've decided after 13 years to give them another chance as reviews seem to have changed a bit. I'm booked in an internal (I'm a solo traveler, cabin is guarantee at least!) as we're into the Italian travel season and all the other affordable cabins were all gone within seconds) on a short western med jaunt end-ish of May. Where in Italy are you? I live in Amelia (Umbria) and have lived in Italy for about 20 years (along with other countries). Here's hoping I didn't make a very bad decision! 😆
@@TravelAddictsLife me too...as long as they are finally enforcing rules (dirty diapered babies in pool, children playing and yelling in the spa and of course smoking throughout the ship, then it might become my go-to company because the prices are certainly great and they run a lot of low-to-no single supplement offers. Reggio nell'Emilia is is a city I lived in for about 1.5ish years around 2014 :-) great area!
Hey guys, really enjoying this. We’ve just booked a week on the Pacifica and have just started our research and your video popped up. It’s really useful and we’re learning a lot. Thanks very much and cheers
Fantastic review! We were on Pacifica in April and had a great time too! Blue moon restaurant was superb and it was wonderful to glimpse Conrad the MD and Rios our drinks waiter on your video ❤🤩🥰
Hi Rick and Andrea, tnx for a great review. And what a lucky journey this was for you, winning the jackpot is great! In November I'm on my first Costa cruise, the Costa Toscana and I have booked all inclusive extra. So I should have anything I need right? I just have 2 questions: is there any activity organized for solo travellers? and when you buy food that is not included like icecream or a poke bowl do you have to pay extra fee or gratuities?
Hello Maya thank you so much for your comment 😃 Costa Toscana is our favorite Costa Ship and you can have a look at our video about it. There are no solo travelers activities but every activity on board is perfect for solo travelers as well. The team is fantastic to organize activities good for everyone. Regarding your second question the answer is no 😃no extra gratuities to pay 👍🏻
Hey Guys, loved the video . I just booked for thr Costa Pacifica, can you explain the tipping more please, I've been told tips are 12e per day charged to the room, but also read 15% on beverages. It's it one of the other or both? TIA
Thank you 🙏 if you bought the all inclusive you don’t need to worry that includes the tips as well otherwise you’ll have to pay the per day tip at the of the cruise and drinks price will include the tip when you sign the slip
I have the all inclusive, but it doesn't include tips I'm advised (as living in Spain and sailing from Valentica) so been advised its 12e per day but would be shocked if its 12e per day plus 15% of Beverages 😮 thanks for the reply and all the great Info xx
Hi again :-) I was going through your video again to see if I could find where the cabin they assigned me is. It seems I got assigned a cabin on deck 10 which is rated, on cruise expert sites, as "to be avoided at all costs". *sigh* I knew it. Even a travel agent told me to immediately ask for a change. ANYway, I seem to be right at the entrance to the solarium pool (kids) and the childrens' area (squok club). I think it's also where main events are held? Do you have any idea? People have given me suggestions for where to go to have some quiet away from the plethora of kids (someone wrote that a group of children and teens were running down the halls doing the "knock and run" at around midnight, creating chaos with noise....) BUT I'm wondering if you're familiar with the area where my cabin is? 1074 (not deck 1, but 10). Thanks! (trip's in 10 days! I'm like both of you, I've been to all the ports, but Valletta will be nice to see, as will Split -- everything else, staying on board LOL)
Hello there, we stayed in that area before and it was a bit noisier then other areas. We like forward cabins because they are usually a bit quieter. We are boarding the Fortuna tomorrow 😍have a great cruise
Hey guys, was the food hot in the suite restaurant? My pet hate is tepid food, even when it's very tasty. My experience of the older Costa ships that don't have a separate kitchen for the suite restaurant is that the food travels a long way and is often just warm, not hot. Would really appreciate your feedback.
Thank you so much for your feedback, really do appreciate it. We are doing a 2 week on Firenze in January and thinking of a 6 day on Pacifica in June next year.
This was so helpful! I am wondering what the process is like for tendering to Santorini. We do not have an excursion because im american and booked through an italian travel agent relative. I cannot even view MyCosta yet 😔. We are frequent cruisers with royal caribbean, but have not experienced tender tickets before.
Thank you so much 😊 the tender tickets It is a very simple process you have a ticket with a number, that you take the day before, and the morning in Santorini they call the numbers
Orlyn was my cabin steward too and he's super nice, always taking the time to talk to me.
He really is! One of the friendliest and most efficient steward ever!

Is there always a White Party and a formal Party on board each cruise?
@@Carlie709 There is usually a. white party, the formal night is usually not a party just a night when people dress up a little
sister to the infamous costa Concordia
