Yes! I've already learned so much more through class at Studio 24. The workshops during scenes was eye-opening. Forced my brain to take different directions! 😄
When you say train, what type of training are you talking about? And do you have any training exercises you’d suggest an intermediate actor would really benefit from?
I'm not really an employeer but I don't think it does. Maybe if you want to be like a model then maybe, but it depends on how well your portray your character. (As in can you act etc)
Nope. There are roles for all looks, there may be more abundant roles for specific types but you absolutely do not not have to be considered physically attractive to be a successful working actor. In fact, very common for breakdowns (in commercial) to call for "real people, no models, etc.". And think about everyday life, though many are - not everyone is a model, filmmakers want to capture that mixed reality.
I’m not a professional actor or anything but from what I know, no I don’t think that matters. Like in Vampire diaries, Elena was supposed to be blonde but since Nina fit the roll so well they casted her. So I think mostly what matters is your performance
Sir, i act realistically, but it seems fake to everyone and when i fake act, it seems real to everyone. Why is that? Like when i really smile, people are like why are you just fake smiling and when i really fake smile, people believe that i am really smiling🥺🥺🥺
@@John-rd7vb No problem. My daughter is the actress. She is tall for her age so I'm always reading it willl be difficult for her to get castings. Wrong - she steadly gets self tapes. Kids at school make fun of her slight lisp - she ignores them. She just booked her first job - a hero role in supermarket commercial! Just do you John!

We recommend finding a reputable class and working with a coach!
i watched all of your videos in one night. wise material, very practical
It's portraying proper muscle memory for the situation.
Thank you so much!
Can you tell me what music is the one you used in the video? It’s really catchy melody
Great advice sir
I have a question do physical features matter in acting? Like do u have to have straight teeth or have a good looking face in order to book a job?

Every role has a specific physical type. Know what you fit and go after those roles.

This is going to sound dumb, but does reading (books on acting, auditions etc) count as training? Or is it only classes?
What sort of training should you be doing?
Ok! Got it
You are basing alot of your tips from Stanislavskij. Right?
Really just train what

Who are these 'people'? Just be yourself.
