12:33. The ESC is already rated to run 4s. Same ESC found in the Losi DB Pro and the Losi Lasernut. 😉. The only thing holding it back is that the motor is only rated to handle 3s, same motor found in the DB Pro, but not the Lasernut. The motor from the Lasernut, or almost any 4s rated motor can be put into the LMT. Just thought you'd like to know.
Cool, I've already taken the stock stuff out, gave it a run today on 4s and I LIKE IT!!! Still gotta finish the edit and put it up, most likely saturday.
@@ExocagedRC I'm anxious to see. I wanted to put a 4s motor in it since finding out the ESC is actually rated for 4s. I'm not sure yet as it may be a bit too much power to be able to use it effectively.
😁👍Nice showcase. Thanks for the shoutout much appreciated. ... This truck is so much fun your going to have a blast with it, I only run mine on 2s lipo because it's so much faster than my clodbusters but I know you your going to rip it with a 3s! LOL!!! I think it's perfect on 2s I even set my ESC timing for the motor to 0 but I have to test run it again but I did test the RPM at the tires and it lost 29RPM per minute on the tires RPM reading compared to the stock timing of 15 Degrees. 😁👍Have fun with it can't wait to see you rip it!
Great breakdown! Love my LMT, only have a few runs on it so far but it's an absolute blast! That smart battery is pretty cool too. Didn't think I would care, but it's nice to have. I will say the bearings are definitely on the small side. Mine was missing a wheel bearing lol.
I’ve seen some after market skid plates and axle plates and a cool looking stainless bumper on eBay for the LMT. Definitely gonna look into those and hopefully limit the wear and tear on the underside.
Im gonna pass on the LMT for now. The price is a bit steep for me but looks well worth it. I think I'm going to pick up a Big Rock and upgrade it with the difference in price 🤔 Appreciate the great video man 🤙
Is there room to lower the battery tray? Or make a smaller tray and lower it? That battery is really high? Run a good servo-saver. Reefs is not a "basher" servo...its a crawler servo. I've has conversations with Reef before about "bashers" breaking servos and trying to pass it off as "broke by a rollover" type of thing. Reefs a smart man and knows when he hears something fishy. Hahaha
Was thinking same learning from crawlers we want weight low as possible. Definitely room to lower the battery tray keeping a lower sence of gravity must be a reason they mounted up high its not level either
I've got a RAW500 in it now, no servo saver. I can't away with excuses because he watches my videos! LOL In the drive video coming up Friday its stock, Saturday will be modded with that raw500,MMX,GT5 and Holmes 2100kv 540xl 2100kv. Yeah it looks like its possible to get the battery tray down a bit
Wow that thing is wicked!! Dang it i gotta drop another $600😂 brother! You see what i did the the Xmaxx yesterday?!!! Its a worlds first Xmaxx with Rcmax FOAMLESS Supet Spike billet wheels!!!! Unsolicited advice from a relative neophyte. Run it with the OEM motor and see if the bearings hold up. If they don't there is a good reason not to seek more power and to question Losi's motives. Keep your 'Jumps' to 'scale'. If the real Grave Digger was launched to 100+ feet in high the air with no landing ramp to massively absorb/reduce its impact at landing neither truck nor its pilot would survive one attempt let alone many.
Lol true 👍, but this motor clogging on low end. But definitely dosen't need more speed and system will except 4s. We see why bearings are bigger in treal axles but there 170 a piece
This is RC, I don't really drive my scale trucks to scale ,its going to be jumped. I found a local pre order for the Treal axles so yep it's already a $1k truck. Also have a Raw500, Mamba Monster X and Holmes motor in it. Soooo I just gotta find time to drive it now. LOL
Nice, now I see the advantage besides strength to those treal axles, the input bearings also , good idea on extending light wires , why didn't they do that , yes I broke my housing too
The Treal housings aren’t cheap but I won’t have to worry about them like I am with the stock ones. It’s a shame they are so weak, they look fabulous! Oh well at least the rest of it is really good.

Nothing like peeling that wrap off a new rc. Great looking truck.
Sweet looking rig CCXRC has a video with axel stiffeners to help not snapping the axels
I was going to get those but I've got the Treal housings ordered

The hobbywing program box (or card) SHOULD program the esc. Has every spektrum esc I've tried so far.
Thanks I didnt know I can use on the bigger spectrums. I guess we stuck with 6v for servo tho .

I won't be needing any of those for this one, just the Treal axles and kuckles and stuff. Maybe stronger/longer links too.

I wonder if they program that firma to only allow a BEC of 6v for warranty reasons.
probably

I've noticed that Losi like screws going into nuts, instead of just plastic thread. Its the same with the Baja Rey.

Check out the Treal Axles. They are amazing got mine a few days ago.. lol then I watched to the end. Compare it to the Carbon "let down"
they are pre ordered through a local guy so hopefully I'll have em soon.
When will spektrum come out with a sensored system? I love their stuff but I can't find anything sensored from them.
One day we will start seeing them, IMO its the natural progression of it.
@@ExocagedRC I sure wish they would hurry up! Idk how they have worked with axial so long and not put a sensored setup in a crawler.
Same with arrma's 6s cars, 5x11x4 diff output bearing... dont know why they go with such small bearings ?!
Losi looks cool but they never hold up for all of them I’ve had
very nice review video! liked & subbed 👍👍
do you know if they ever fixed the discolor issue with the body decal?
