what benefit would an apology provide? Money won't solve the trauma. Also, Japanese government is too prideful and proud to admit their atrocities. Japanese economy is in a recession so admitting their wrongdoings and providing reparations is the last thing they'd prioritize.
I hope more people become aware of this history. When will they receive an apology? It seems like the world has forgotten its history, which is very sad.
