Icebreaker should be studied by literature professors. On how it fails everything in storytelling. Zero plot, zero character development, zero effort. This book is equivalent to banging your head against the wall. They werent even enemies! He just sees her and tries to speak to her but then for some reason starts lusting after her and she's angry at him for no fucking reason and is such an intolerable shit. Also that color is so cute on you! It makes you glow ❤
@@asea1203 That is true, there are more books than we can read in our lifetime so personally I also choose to DNF if I'm not enjoying something. Do you have any recommendations you can share?
Never heard of Norah Hess but I've looked her up and most of her book covers tell you everything you need to know BUT WHY am I curious and feel like reading at least one 😂 Btw it's not that I have anything against spicy books. My comments only relate to the specific book I've mentioned in the video 😁
@@StacyKinyanjui Start with "Raven" You dont even have to buy it. I think national library in Upper-hill has those books, read for free and if you like it ,then buy it☺It's actually a good story.
@@KenyaModo I've looked up the blurb and I'm not really feeling the story😭. I prefer your other recommendation by Danielle Steel. I might pick up Perfect Stranger.

Yeah, it's really bad all round 💀
Thank you!
I read Icebreaker alongside a Book Club, earlier this year (2024). ALL OF US disliked it in some way.
Did you guys finish the entire book?
2:38 🤣🤣 '...much depth to it as an Instagram caption...'💀 I'm definitely using that line! 😂
This is what you call an instalove story. I’ve never read anything so shallow and fake 😅
i've been hearing A LOT of people saying these books are terrible, so i'm scared to read them
Yeah, I definitely didn't like them 😭 but I would say everyone's experience is different so you never know, you may like them.
They are. There are so many great books out there, more than we can possibly read in a lifetime. Thus, there's no need to waste time on them

@@StacyKinyanjui Of course !!!! The secret history, Howl's moving castle, Metamorphosis, The Great Gatsby, The sun also rises
@@asea1203 Howl's moving castle sounds interesting. Is it the one by Diana Wynne Jones?
your opinion about Icebreaker had me howling. not as deep as a IG caption!
Don't even get me started on Icebreaker. What was that story 😂 Have you read it?
You should read those books from Norah Hess🤣😂
