    Did not expect the hair to be handled that way. Very fascinating.

      That's the beauty of working with 3-D in 2-D, if that makes sense.

    I was wondering how you all were able to get that 2D vector look with 3D. Amazing!

    This was a great art decision. It looks so appealing in movement, I did not for a moment get distracted by any offset or weird detail.

    Wow I was exactly guessing if this was 3D or 2D you're amazing...how fluent all the animation feels...it's so real and more!

    Wow!! What a genius move! This is such a great way to blend 2D and 3D animation obviously the positioning and the timing mustve taken a ton of work though for this to work the way it did!

    How did you guys get this look I must know!?!?!?

    • @Aeonxal

      toon shader

    • @mrrhey
      @mrrhey 6 лет назад +5

      @@Aeonxal it's a little harder then that. Toon shader gives you hard shadows and outlines this has done something I've never seen before.

      I can't say what render engine but if you want to try and construct shaders like this without excessive coding you could take a look at Houdini's Mantra. The node-based shader network even lets you dive into the illuminance and gather loops and rewire the entire shader rendering logic for the material. Blender's Cycles could be a good option too, it looks pretty open based on the little testing I've done (not as in-depth as Mantra, but you might not need that).
