Blender is FREE, as too Krita, MyPaint, Gimp, Opentoonz, DragonBones, OBS, etc.

Within the Grease Pencil object's Properties Panel (it shows after you click that green twirly button for 'object data properties') use the 'Layers' property where + and - can add and remove layers.

I don't know what it is but I and the 9 others that dislike this video can't follow it can't speak for the others but for me you keys different from minds or your setting different from minds so can't follow cuz I'm not getting the same results your trying to show us.

Super helpful video. Do you know if there's a way to separate different Grease Pencil Line Art objects onto different layers? It seems like you can't select them like a GP Stroke.

Interesting, though not useful at my current impasse. I still can't figure out how to move a Grease Pencil layer from one Grease Pencil object to an existing Grease Pencil object.

Draw mode doesn't show up for me and I am using grease pencil. I cant find what to do anywhere!!

Maybe by adding the '2D Animation" bar via the + button. It's in that top bar with 'File, 'Edit' etc.
Still learning myself. Long ways to go. Lots of stuff that's really hard to find.
