All grounded mats are heat resistant, but they're not heat PROOF. You're literally touching it with 350c of heat. Its going to melt.... Use a metal base if you dont want anything to melt or burn.
Hello, where can I find these kinds of wires that you soldered? I managed to put a chip for my switch V1 myself and now I would like to do it for an Oled switch too. Thanks for the video.
These are called "Magnet Wire" by some people, but mine in specific are called "BNTECHGO, HIGH QUALITY POLYURELTHANE ENAMELED COPPER WIRE" These are insulted and typically stripped using heat, I find the best way is to get some fresh fluxed solder onto ur iron and stick the very tip the wire into the solder for at least 30 seconds and then to have a little bit of solder on it and on ur tip when soldering it to the pads
Also be sure your wire joints look like theyre welded together and not like the wire is sticking out of the joint and only do the very tip you dont want a bunch of the wire inside the joint

arctic mx 4 thermal paste is probably the best performance to price ratio but anything you can get in a jar is probably fine long term or get something super high performance if ur just doing a couple of them
Why? I suppose I will if you could give me a good reason. Can't think of one personally.. Is there something you can do with a mac address I don't know about?

and make sure you have only one type of solder on ur pad and that the entire joint is heated/melted when welded together to ur wire
Oh and I forgot its 30 AWG 155c
Also be careful, do not just get copper wires. You want enamelled copper wire. If it’s just copper it won’t be insulated
Hello, what tools do you use and where can I find them? Thanks for the video.
