There have been lots of bands who could play hard rock and metal, but writing and performing a truly beautiful ballad is completely different thing, and few bands can pass the test. Lovebites are able to surprise us because they have studied many genres of music and know how to use all the tools to tell a story.
Have you heard any bad or boring tracks from these women yet? No, and you aren't going to. They don't have any of those. I suggest Rising the music video, then Rising accoustic with just Miyako on the piano with Asami singing, really nice.
This might be the most beautiful Lovebites song ever. This, Frozen Serenade and Edge Of The World, pure beauty. But they put incredibly beautiful parts even on some faster songs, like the middle part and solo of Beak The Wall. And on the other hand, most of their faster songs are beautiful also, like Rising, Empty Daydream, Swan Song, Liar, The Final Collision, Dystopia Symphony, When Destinies Align....
Taking nothing away from Haruna, Midori or Miho but I always call this the Asami and Miyako song. I wonder if any other five piece band could play it? Maybe NightWish, but I don't know if their keyboard player can play guitar? Any musician could not help be enchanted watching Miyako swap from piano to guitar with ease 😍

Is not only an amazing motivational song (displaying Haruna's character and her approach to life), but the first version (in Japanese language) was _completely written_ by *Haruna* . The _Japanese_ version of "Bravehearted" came to Haruna during her "Destrose" time. For _Lovebites_ recordings and live shows, Asami (vocals) transferred the meaning of the Japanese lyrics into English, for an international audience. My gratitude therefore goes to both Haruna and Asami.
Some of my favorite songs in life have been the ballads done by hard rock and/or metal bands, this one is no exception....love it! Seems that you and I have a few things in common Petri, as I also love when Miyako plays those moving 'blues' guitar pieces, and I also work 12 hr days and then have different days off than most people!
