I am beyond excited to go to Korea for March and April next year. I’m finally leaving my toxic job of the past 12 years to go back to school and decided to give myself a MUCH needed vacation.
Very good news indeed!! I too am travelling to South Korea towards the end of March this year :D i'm so nervous. Although if anyone knows, what is the best way to travel from Dallas, TX to South Korea? I heard KoreanAir and Asian Airlines are the best but take about a day and half to get there(yikes).please help or let me know

You have the best Korean YT channel for information and your channel is growing so fast. I am very happy for your success and happy to see that you've built a friendly and positive-minded community here.
Awww you’re so kind!! Thank you so much for the kind compliment and I’ll try my best to bring as much information as I can while loving others in the process! ❤️✨
Your channel is going to be BIG! I wonder how I didn't come across your videos sooner. You are so so helpful, informative and straight to the point. Thank you sooo much!!
Again, amazing content for the viewers. It's so crisp and accurate. No need to go through the hassle of reading a lot of content or watch long videos explaining each individually, if anyone is in a hurry. Keep doing you!! You are doing great work!!.
Wait a minute, so South Korea is essentially giving you a 3 year visa as long as you do a visa run every 90 days? That's awesome! I had thought initially it was just a 90 day visa at which point you would need to leave and reapply for again. Thank you for all the very useful information!
Omg. The tip about the visa....I've been to Korea so many times in the past and didn't even think to consider if they changed anything about visa requirements. Thank you!!!
This is why I'm so good in korea.. because of my beautiful bestie ❤️. This video will help so many people, and I know how hard you worked doing this... so proud of you megs 😊

Your channel is exactly what I'm looking for with my upcoming trip at the end of this month. I mean girly the organization, the embedded videos, and the guides. THANK YOU!!!
Your guide and videos are very helpful. I was able to get through the airport and into the city well prepared and as a solo traveler. Got used to the train system within 1 day. Thank you so much!
Some great tips that have really helped with my trip to Seoul. Id highly recommend staying and spending more time in Hongdae rather than Itaewon. Much more of an authentic atmosphere in Hongdae both day & night.
You must have a valid U.S. passport to enter Korea. From April 1, 2023, to December 31, 2024, the Korean Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA) is not required for US citizens for stays of 90 days or less that are for tourism or business purposes. Answering my own question. 😅
Dear Megan, thank you so much for posting your wonderful and informative videos on travelling to Korea. I just returned from a fantastic trip in Seoul. I stumbled across your channel when I was preparing for my first solo trip. Although my friends in Korea and Singapore helped me and I googled myself to death, your videos saved many a day for me. Because of your videos, my trip as a solo traveller to South Korea was made so much easier and smooth-sailing. Right up to the night I was supposed to fly off, I watched your RUclips videos on the important documents I must get my hands on - because of that, I could get my Q-code done. (Phew!). Again, because of your videos, I knew how to get the transport cards, what apps to download, how to take the bus, taxis and subway. And of course, how to navigate my way out of the airport when I land and when I take off. I also know where to go, things to do and the options I have when I got to Seoul. I have learned to save money when I was in Seoul thanks to your great tips and advice. Your videos are a great treasure trove for a novice solo traveller like me. Please continue your great work and may the Lord continue to bless you, watch over you and prosper you. May He continue to provide for you and bless you with abundance as you serve Him and give of yourself to others for Him. I am also encouraged by your testimonies of God's love and goodness - it helps me to continue to trust in Him. I thank God for you. Take care!

I wanted to thank you for your videos. I have been watching them this past week and have been extremely helpful. My friend wants to go to Korea next April and it would be my first time aboard and I am so nervous. Don't get me wrong, I am excited but also nervous for being so far away from Canada.
I'm so, so happy to hear my videos have been helpful for you! I know traveling can be scary, I felt that myself the first time I came here, so God gave me to idea to make this channel!! Always lifts my spirits when I see it's helped someone~ I said the travel prayer for you just now~ Whatever happens on your trip: wakeup, make the most of it (which also means listening to your body... it's okay to stay inside sometimes if you're feeling exhausted or overwhelmed) and then GO ENJOY THIS BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY~ 😍🫂✨
Hi! About the VISA: I looked it up online and you don’t need one if you come from Europe (Germany in my case) and come to korea for less than 90 days. So easy peasy for Europeans apparently! :)
No no! Online it clearly states that EVERYONE needs one as of September of last year - even visa-free countries. People will have to wait at the border if they don’t have the visa in advance and are coming to Korea as a tourist. It’s so cheap and the visa is good for two years so please take the extra precautions so you don’t get in trouble! 🥺🫶🏼❤️
You need the KETA which actúa is not a visa. I don't know why she says that everyone needs a visa. Some countries need the visa and some countries only have to apply for KETA
@@MeganOsten hey! so I checked again since my trip is coming closer and they have updated the regulations. since april 2023 german citizens do NOT NEED the k-eta. however, you CAN get one if you want to. my friend and I thought a while about it and we got one just to be on the safe side. but the website clearly states that none is needed when you’re from germany. just letting you know!

I'm new in your channel. We are planning to go to Busan in Oct. 2024. Can you recommend best hotel near subway station and Heaundae beach. And recommendation on authentic restaurants and places to visit. Thank you and more power
Loving to have found your channel! I'm heading to Seoul for work in 4 weeks and have meetings and events in two completely different parts of the city! One is at COEX so someone suggested I stay at the Intercontinental, and the other event is at the Westin Josun. I will be busy but would love to explore areas nearby as I've never been to Korea before. Where would you recommend I stay? Thank you so much!!
It would be convenient to stay at a hotel near COEX, such as the Intercontinental, since you have meetings there, but if you want to explore other areas, you can also consider staying at a hotel in the Gangnam or Itaewon neighborhoods. I recommend checking out the South Korea Travel Guide 2023 by Rick Paul for recommendations on accommodations and nearby attractions. 🏨🌃📖
Tried to use the link for K-ETA however US nationality is not a choice ( actually that site only offered applicants Asia/Pacific & Australia locations. Do you have another suggestion ( I leave 4/14/23 ), thank yoy
I appreciate your video and attempt at help but i would appreciate it even more if you actually mentioned things instead of linking videos to watch and links to download. Thank yo.
Great video! So helpful. About the weather: how is Seoul in the first half of August? I know it'll be hot and humid, but is it doable with neckfans/umbrellas? Or is it just intolerable to be outdoors at all, especially midday? TIA!
There should be one! But the sooner you attend the event the sooner you’ll be in the group chat where we vote on the dates we will have the meet-ups ❤️✨ So the sooner you join the better 🤭🫰🏼
Have you ever used luggage transportation services between cities (hotel to hotel) like they have in Japan? Made traveling the Shinkansen a lot easier. Thinking the same thing for the KTX.
Yep! Check the updated videos for more information because the K-ETA is still required for some countries: ruclips.net/video/O6RPDavtgTU/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/YZ2BrPc2XmA/видео.html
hi megan, enjoying your vidz as i prepare for our south korea trip at the end of the month. got a question about making reservations for the blue house - do i really need a local korean phone number to make reservations? is there no way around this? the website asks for a phone number to confirm, and i guess my US phone number isn't working. thanks for any info
