I just found this song as I was selecting my theme song for London Marathon 2025 in which I would run for rememberance of my late father who passed away 25 years ago due to cancer. The message of the song has inspired me to pursue my Marathon dream even though I am just a Human Being! See you in London in Apr 2025!
Love it .. I originally wanted to be a film Director & own / rescue horses .. But my older brother told me I'd get more girls if I played gtr .. & once I was rich I could make movies & rescue horses .. then I had to be his bass player .. True story I had a lesson in how to play from Pino Palladino .. who was a pal back then .. It might even be then when he switched to bass .. he stayed at our flat one night & the next day played my bass for an hour or so .. embarassingly so much better than me .. but he was already a brilliant guitar player anyway .. I digress .. Yes film school .. I never wanted to be a front man / person or be anywhere but behind the camera .. I was sad I missed your recent set in Camden Jazz Cafe .. but I would've needed wheelchair access & a matinee performance .. altho I also suffer from insomnia .. but I saw a few video clips .. you can still rock it out .. But I do love your voice more on some of your softer side of KT songs .. all the best .. Big love & good Karma comin at yah from an old Scots Muso living in the sticks .. literally ..
