I think comparing card interpretations to those from the RWS can be an interesting jumping off point in discussing what new perspective an artist or deck creator brings to a system or how a card can be read. It can be thought-provoking, challenge my reading style, help shake things up or keep me open minded. Even if I don't end up buying a deck, hearing how readers view certain cards is always fascinating to me! With the Lubanko Tarot, I'm still vacillating as to whether I should buy it or not... but there are certainly some interesting, beautiful cards in there! How have you found reading with it?
@@tigerlybalm Honestly, I've got a system of working with decks, so it hasn't come into my cycle for regular use yet. I think it's going to read just fine though. Shuffling was a breeze.

There is second printing available right now and I'm looking into buying this deck but I find it very inconsistent in theme and artistic expression. Some cards I love (emperor, devil, moon,...), some are very boring (3 of swords, 6 of cups, 8 of cups), and some I just don't like (star, judgement, strenght) ... So thank you for such a detailed walk through and personal first impression. I found it very helpful. Just an observation: 4 of wands - there is smoke coming from the chimney = people are celebrating inside the house, lol.

I haven't been able to work with it much yet. I've got a rotation going and the slots are full. I was thinking of moving it in before Samhain.
