That is so great that the cat and dog get along with each other so well ! They really look out for each other. You can tell they are buddies! Norfie for President ! 😸
I don't know if Norfie will make President, but he may compete with the Mayor of Rabbit Hash. Rabbit Hash is located on the side of Boone County next to the Ohio River.
Thank you for documenting these Norfolk Southern and CSX trains in Walton, Kentucky! That is interesting that the CSX tracks are only protected by a crossbuck and a YIELD sign. Please upload that video that your wife took in LaGrange, Kentucky. WWoT has a lot of crossings in the Dunkirk, New York area where the Norfolk Southern and the CSX tracks are right next to each other. In WWoT's area, bot the Norfolk Southern and the CSX tracks are protected by lights and gates.
I'll take a wild guess on why there's only a crossbuck and yield sign there. I'm thinking this area is probably more rural with less traffic, than Dunkirk. Yes, please post Mrs. Tooth''s video, of the train running right down the street. 😀😀
That first train was bookin' :) WWOT (a fellow railfain) often stands between the CSX and NS tracks and has this happen. It's hard to know what to shoot for the video :) Very nice catch!
You probably wouldn't know about this anymore than I do but I can ask anyhow : They went through and redid the lines where I live. And they got stacks and stacks of the old railroad logs, what do they do with them ?
Good to see so many rail cars on rail fan videos of lumber cars, that means that the stock of lumber at the big box stores and independent lumber stores has to be getting better. Maybe the prices will go down too.
What a cool crossing! Interesting place to catch some live action! Great video as always, thanks again JawTooth. Shoutout to Chessie and Norfie!! Merry Christmas to you JT and family!
JT you trying to pull a Mike on WWOT NS on one.side and CSX on the other. Except his is reverse more CSX than NS. Hey ! Do some more of guitar work of yours, I’ll rock til I drop !!!
It is a pretty good hump for sure. I found a crossing a few miles away that has the master of all humps. I drove over it and I couldn't see the road in front of me when I was on the crossing because it was so steep. I'm going to film it soon
That was cool to be at that point to have a train on each track just minutes apart. That was a pretty quiet road. No cars at all came with any of the three trains. Off in the distance, it looked like a busy main route over there. As always, love the Norfie and Chessie show, another great Jawtooth video on YouTuba!!
You hit the jackpot, JT. Great location. Dramatic footage, especially the first NS freight that was bookin’. What’s the hurry, you ask? Supply chain woes during the holiday season! Nothing beats fast freight. Merry X-mas and Happy New Year to you and your family. And thank you for all of your great videos :-)
If I'm not mistaken Kentucky was one of the places hit by the tornados but I could be wrong anyway that CSX train was bookin hope you have a great week
Interesting as always! Thanks to you, I'm more conscious of the flashing ditch lights. I even did a railfanning video in Rhame, ND to show that they're not always used on trains. Unlike you, I didn't film the whole train: all oil cars except for the pusher being returned. This video of multiple trains reminds me of when I lived in Harvey, ND which is bisected by a switching yard. There was a pedestrian bridge over the yard. Sadly, back then, I was still using film photography. I could have made some amazing videos in that town. I'm thinking about going back in the summer to do some video. One clear memory is being woken up at night as they built trains: the bang would carry through every single car. The town I live in now gets 2-3 trains per day, but they only stop if they are picking up grain at the elevator. I do have a cool photo hanging in my living room of train cars and a rainbow that I took one fortuitous day.
Good great made video, mr Jaw Tooth. That trains of NS that where beasts whit 3 locomotives, but that CSX train you didn't hear the train and there hé was. Awesome. Greet from Zandvoort the Netherlands.
awesome vid - that first train was really flying, and lots of EMD power, first NS SD70ACe I think I've seen live. You get some really interesting trains back there, (we get unit oil, unit coal, grain and stack but really not that many mixed manifest out here...)
Yes, post that video please. That doesn't make sense, one crossing with lights and gates and the other with crossbucks. That one should have lights and gates also That Norfolk Southern train in the beginning was really booking. Awesome! Another great video from Jaw Tooth 😊
good thing that first train's curve was superelevated! he was Movin'! sounds like they could use a flange greaser down there. great cat! rubbing on both you and best friend Chessie.
Good video! I dont know if train horns come standard or not, but the second trains horn sound was beautiful! Loved that sound. Also some VRF's I chat with on the live cams tell me that the CSX and Amtrak horns are different. I always give a thumbs up on your videos! Merry Christmas!
Definitely a difference in the sounds of freight train horns and Amtrack. Amtrack horns are higher pitched, while freight horns tend to be deep and "throaty."
CSX has one of best locomotive lash-ups. It's a plus that they use SD40-2's and other standard Spartan Cab locomotives in mainline consists and even as DPU's! Nice catch & Great Video!
This is pretty cool, JT. Another great place to watch trains is further west in Fargo ND where they have the coal trains. Family was out there on vacation when they were halted at a train crossing. Probably were three or four cars away from it and it was still shaking the camera. Appleton WI has some great trains too. Most of them are two miles long. Keep up the great videos!
That's great Jawtooth. In Canada you don't see two rail lines shoulder to shoulder like this. That's very cool to see that. Merry Christmas to you and your Family. Appreciate all you do for us rail fans Jawtooth. Thank you for sharing. Canada.
another RARE train car, this time, Fe Trading at 6:07! and an EMD POWER move on the second one! absolutely love that. seeing an all-EMD power move of 5+ locos is on my bucket list. keep the hits coming, son!
Great catch - with those lines being parallel, there must be some kind of arrangement if one is out of service for routine maintenance or something like that. Catching a train on both lines was a real lucky shot !
Notch 8 in full effect on the triple leader NS TRAIN! That's got to be awesome to be between 2 tracks to catch either one. Lots of rolled steel on the 2nd NS TRAIN as well as the CSX TRAIN. I've really become a fan of the SD40-3's (SPONGEBOB) locomotives.
Another thing - be careful out in this sub-zero weather - frostbite is something you don't need, so layer up. Get insulated coveralls - I have a set and they keep me good and warm.
Good catch Jawtooth -one in front and one behind -were on overload !! Nice collection of broken bits -that the average collector would love to own -even if it is broken !!! Norfie looking real good to -so happy there ! Regards
Thats one of the coolest spots to be a railfan catching trains! Imagine having those ancient trainlights and crossing gates in your train mancave, that would be incredible!
I couldn't tell if the 3 Geep's were offline and in tow or online on that CSX manifest train. Lots of Geep's still in use on the CSX and NS. Don't see them on the BNSF and UP in my neck of the woods.
Cool Jaw! Despite the cold you are still not transformed into ice cream! What would be embarrassing to film with numb fingers! It seems to me that there are fewer trains in a general way but longer trains. Perhaps it's less expensive.
You sure lucked out there! That was really cool! Also liked Mrs. Tooths video. Tracks down the middle of a street in town brings back memories of a long ago time.
That was awesome Brian got to see two sets of trains todaywithin fifty feet of each other that was awesome thanks again for another great day thanks for letting me get and it was great to get to see you yesterday for a couple seconds so have a great day Merry Christmas God bless from Kentucky
It's amazing the railroads keep track of where all those cars and containers are going. I miss cabooses. You got to wave to the crew one more time when the caboose went by.
Thumbs up my friend for great content-especially both NS trains had the beautiful k5la blasters singing out front for joy coming through the crossing and CSX had 3 awesome sounding SD's!😉
I noticed the old amp,,, being a musician for most of my life. Started playing drums when I was in 2nd grade in Arizona. I was playing in bars when I was 16 and graduated up the ranks into Jazz and Jazz fusion. I have done concerts with and backed many many Jazz greats. Blue Mitchell, Some of Carlos Santana's band members like Luis Gasca (trumpet) who also recorded with Janice Joplin and Malo. Did a concert with Les Mc Cann, also. Have done a lot of studio work as well. Still playing my drums and have my little man cave out here in the desert with my drums set up. I play for my own enjoyment now and not worried about getting in some band or doing some concert. I probably play better now then I ever did..but it's just for me. Im retired now at a ripe 75 years of age. Just a bit info on yours truly! Have a good Christmas JT!!!
Hey you should go to Lexington, there's lot of cool stuff here, like double tracks under a car bridge, and an RJ Corman yard! And yes, let's see the lost video!

Wow great video! I am assuming that the gondola cars were filled with metal ingots based on the amount of power at the front of the train. Cool finding a location like WWOT has that is between NS and CSX tracks. Thanks for starting the video son! Love the Norfie and Chessie video at the end!
That is cool when that happens, I've been between 2 and 3 trains at the same time, its like you ain't going go anywhere son! LOL
Hi WWOT
Also congrats for getting 100k
Common occurrence on Chicago's South side, Western avenue. Luckily for me, we were in the crew van on overtime, had that happen 3 times!
You got that right! I've seen that happen to you several times now.
I'm surprised JT hadn't experienced that until now. I know both of you have now.
1. (12.07.21). 3 eng. 96 cars; 2. 3 eng. 85 cars; 3. 4 eng. only 93 cars. So glad Norfy & Chessie are buddies. ❤💙

Awesome! Two trains at once. Strange that there are different signals on the crossings. Aww sweet Norfie and Chessie. Love those Street runners!
We, who enjoy your train videos every day, say thank you for braving the cold weather doing what you do so well!
Thank you very much!
I couldn't say it any better than that. We, your fans, appreciate all that you do!
Happens here in my town . You can literally be at a crossing waiting on one train and another comes blasting through on the other track.
Being a former carpenter, it was cool seeing that many cars of engineered lumber!!!
You probably wouldn't know about this anymore than I do but I can ask anyhow :
They went through and redid the lines where I live.
And they got stacks and stacks of the old railroad logs, what do they do with them ?
Good to see so many rail cars on rail fan videos of lumber cars, that means that the stock of lumber at the big box stores and independent lumber stores has to be getting better. Maybe the prices will go down too.
Love seeing the pets at the end of each video. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
WOW,AWESOME Video
Sit in a chair and watch trains all day
Great spot
It is weird,,that one crossing has lights. And the other doesn't
What a cool crossing! Interesting place to catch some live action! Great video as always, thanks again JawTooth. Shoutout to Chessie and Norfie!! Merry Christmas to you JT and family!
I wonder why the CSX crossing only has crossbucks while the NS crossing has warning lights and gates.
Merry Christmas to you
The house on the hill would be a perfect place to live overlooking both sets of tracks. What a show!
JT you trying to pull a Mike on WWOT NS on one.side and CSX on the other. Except his is reverse more CSX than NS. Hey ! Do some more of guitar work of yours, I’ll rock til I drop !!!
Norfi, like the quick fast black NFS engines @ Walton's Crossing! Great timing, JT, on these 2 trains that had you in their "crossbucks!"
Really cool area! Awesome catch! Great place to be! Thanks for sharing! That old Earth amp is awesome!
Gets colder perhaps some snow storm action ,, Yikes that one crossing got quite the hump, hope no big rig gets stuck on it trying to cross !
It is a pretty good hump for sure. I found a crossing a few miles away that has the master of all humps. I drove over it and I couldn't see the road in front of me when I was on the crossing because it was so steep. I'm going to film it soon
BUEN DIA JAW TOOTH, SALUDOS DESDE URUGUAY Y GRANDIOSOS TRENES USTED NOS MUESTRA, GRACIAS MIL.

Off in the distance, it looked like a busy main route over there. As always, love the Norfie and Chessie show, another great Jawtooth video on YouTuba!!
Norfie is really getting big. I think it is really cool how her and the dogs get along and how they play together.
That first NS train was flyin'!!!!!
That NS must've had some REALLY high greens!
If I'm not mistaken Kentucky was one of the places hit by the tornados but I could be wrong anyway that CSX train was bookin hope you have a great week
You are not mistaken😐
Walton is in northern Kentucky near Cincinnati. The areas hit hardest by the tornadoes were in the western parts of the Commonwealth.
OUTSTANDING ONCE AGAIN JT
The Train Gods were kind to you on this......two trains......someone's been eating their Wheaties!
Interesting as always! Thanks to you, I'm more conscious of the flashing ditch lights. I even did a railfanning video in Rhame, ND to show that they're not always used on trains. Unlike you, I didn't film the whole train: all oil cars except for the pusher being returned.

Yep, "at night as they built trains: the bang would carry through every single car. " Nothing else on the planet sounds like that! :D

Hey good Buddy you find some good areas for the freight trains. I follow the Kansas City Southern lines.
Cool, thanks for watching!
Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 ❤
and Happy New Year!
Merry Christmas to you
Now that's how you do it! Great catching those two trains right after one another. Post her video up.
A train sammich! You must have been in train heaven mister!
ChainsawN&W1218,nice shot of that NS IM train coming off the curve booking it,highballing, great catch on CSX coming through right after NS.
Awesome video as always and keep em coming.

Lucky spot! Yes, I’d like to see the whole catch of that street running train, it looked like a long one
That's a cool spot to be at
Perfect timing. You must know the right people in the right places to coordinate that. 👍😁 Merry Christmas JT & the fans! 🎄
another RARE train car, this time, Fe Trading at 6:07!

Jaw tooth you need to go to Gray, Indiana. The have a 10-12 track crossing, with a Csx, NS, BNSF, Amtrak and ET&T lines.
Wow! It did look like they were flying! 😳
I used to spend my summers growing up near Walton watching the trains going in and out of DeCoursey Yard.
It's be great to see Mrs. Tooth's video.
Thats one of the coolest spots to be a railfan catching trains! Imagine having those ancient trainlights and crossing gates in your train mancave, that would be incredible!

From what I saw bnsf still uses sd-40s kinda close to where I live
Cool Jaw! Despite the cold you are still not transformed into ice cream! What would be embarrassing to film with numb fingers! It seems to me that there are fewer trains in a general way but longer trains. Perhaps it's less expensive.
Good afternoon to all from SE Louisiana 22 Dec 21.
That was cool and you weren't kidding about that 1st NS train. They were in all sorts of hurry!
So good
That was so awesome 2 Norfolk Southern and then a CSX. I can't wait for the next video Jaw Tooth.
You sure lucked out there! That was really cool! Also liked Mrs. Tooths video. Tracks down the middle of a street in town brings back memories of a long ago time.

Awesome to catch two different lines like that. One right after the other lol. Thanks for sharing.
It's amazing the railroads keep track of where all those cars and containers are going. I miss cabooses. You got to wave to the crew one more time when the caboose went by.
JawTooth a.k.a The Train Magnet. Where JT goes, trains follow.
CSX was like: let's come to Jaw Tooth to surprise him
Thumbs up my friend for great content-especially both NS trains had the beautiful k5la blasters singing out front for joy coming through the crossing and CSX had 3 awesome sounding SD's!😉
!WOW! a CSX ES40DC, SD40-2 & 2 SD40-3's super catch Jawtooth!😀😀😀😀😀!

Excellent video. Merry Christmas to you and your family as well as pets.
Fantastic love hearing the train whistle as the other train breaks the end
Nears the end
merry Christmas sawtooth.
Please excuse me Mr. Jaw Tooth, but I think I love Chessie & Norfie more than trains! 😂👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Thank you very much for your videos! Great Job!
Awesome video!!!!
Man! That 1st NS shot reminded me of the camera angle coming off turn 2 at Daytona & Talladega!! Man they were movin' off that curve!
Yes, post the Mrs. Jaw Tooth video from LaGrange, KY. You could get vertigo from driving next to a train on the street!
Norfie is such a softie, great company to Chessie.😁👌👍😎
We agree!
@@JawTooth trust you will take a well earned break with your dearest & family, and look forward to 2022 !
🥰😇👌👍🥳
Hey you should go to Lexington, there's lot of cool stuff here, like double tracks under a car bridge, and an RJ Corman yard! And yes, let's see the lost video!
That’s really cool mate
Are you gonna Do a montage of all the trains you caught this year?
Great Video again JT, so glad I discovered your channel this year 😊
Have a Merry Xmas all you folks in the USA.
Merry Christmas to you
Some good sd40 on that csx train !
The approach of that first NS on the curve was sooo cool! Amazing video.
Wasn't the first two at the beginning, old Tropicana cars?
I never would have thought that you were a metal head! Great work today
What was the speed you think of that first train? Must have been quite windy standing next to the track. Good of you to show more of the surroundings of the tracks. And those four (!) CSX locomotives, what power! Great video today, Jaw Tooth, thank you very much.
Nice of CSX to hit you with that surprise train AFTER the NS had just passed by.
Wow i counted 3 sd40-3s on that csx train and yes sir that was and awsome catch with those 2 trains and perfect timing
Hey! Jawthooth! you and WWOTs have the best CSX & NS train videos excellent!👍.
You done it again. What a catch. I don't know how you can keep from jumping up and down.
Keep those old amps. You just can't get the sound out of these new ones like the old ones.
Got two old Marshall's (70's) and two old Fenders (70's) and I wouldn't sell them for nothing.
Take care and Merry Christmas to you and your families.
Thanks again! Merry Christmas Chester!
perfect timing between NS & CSX freights 👍🏿
Great video JT! Stay safe & warm out there. Keep the video going son!
Let's see the Mrs. Tooth video too.
Going about 80mph first train Chessie sure loves Norfie
@ 3:55 to 4:59...Am I the only one here who sees some pretty cool decoration fixtures for a man-cave?
I would guess since NS is busier that's why they put up gates. Love Lagrange track. Talk about clearing the street. 🤣😂
Wow great video! I am assuming that the gondola cars were filled with metal ingots based on the amount of power at the front of the train. Cool finding a location like WWOT has that is between NS and CSX tracks. Thanks for starting the video son! Love the Norfie and Chessie video at the end!
