- The forecast called for sunny skies so I went camping and planned to sleep under the stars. Unfortunately, an unexpected rain shower caught me by surprise in the morning! I was unprepared without my rain gear.
Despite the rain, I still enjoyed a great day fishing from my Freein Stand Up Paddle Board. It was my first time on a SUP and I was very impressed.

Ok so I had a heart attack watching on that board. lol. No sea legs for me. The second time you were real steady. You will be a pro tomorrow. lol. That board looked fun. Love the prayers at the end. The paddle board is a huge trend on Pensacola Beach. We pump up the ones we sell at the beach retail store w/ the huge air compressors used for t-shirt printing, bc the pump is exhausting & time is money during summer season. Great vid. Sending prayers. Get some rest.

Another successful camp despite the rain and lack of gear for it. Back in the late 60's early 70's used to hitchhike across the country with a sleeping bag and (sometimes) a 1 1/2 man pup tent, you learn to "make do". Looking forward to you sooner or later Catch, Clean and Cooking a fish! Hang in there!

Always wanted to try paddle boarding & kayaking. I learned to fish when I was young. My uncle taught all us siblings. Said if we wanted to fish we'd have to gut, clean, & fillet them, so we did. We'd have fish frys with homemade french fries for dinner.

You need to make a compilation video of all your cooking. That way it's easy to find if we want to copy any of them. Also you could do them ever so offen as you get more and have a library of them. Just a thought.

Thanks for the peaceful beautiful vibes. Curious that such a pretty natural small lake either had no fish or the ones there are too stuck up and set in their ways to try something new to eat. But we fishermen learn to love it whether they bite or not!

My daughter and stepdaughter and the step daughter’s boyfriend took his paddle board out to an island in a lake. They sat on the board while they took turns paddling. Their mission: to find a geocache on the island. We’d spent the day at a nearby lake, swimming, sunning and relaxing. It was a beautiful day. When the geocachers set out, the clouds were gathering. Not too ominous initially. The lake they were now on was not a hospitable swimming lake, but the water was clear and there were a few boats on it. After they’d been gone for about a half hour, storm clouds hit. They’d made the island and were oh-so -close to their destination! But to us back on shore, we were sure they’d never be seen alive again! Lightening was everywhere! The island was full of tall pines/lightening rods! They finally made it back to land. They avoided a leech attack, got thoroughly drenched and my stepdaughter got stung by wasps. Worse for them, they didn’t find the geocache!
Kudos to you, Kenny, for keeping that thing upright. I had a hard time with it.

Haha typical expression before something bad can happen 😂 at the moment my rod is spooled with some high vis braided line. I was using a fluorocarbon leader while fishing. I am beginning to think I may need to do something different 😬 this fishing thing is a challenge lol

Fish don’t like to bite in the rain…..they don’t like to get wet! 😀😀
Ive heard, and I tend to agree, that when a big front is moving in, and the barometer really drops, it affects the whole chain, and they turn off. However a few showers make actually wake them up. Certainly they don’t like calm sunny days. So maybe the dark, and chop on the water makes them feel safer or something?
Interesting take on the SUP. Btw. If they weren’t so darn expensive, they’d have a place for sure thanks to their ease. Try staying close to centre when you paddle. If you’re rear of centre, it will make you zig zag a lot. Especially if you don’t J stroke to keep it straight. Thank you for you’re video.
