He was young and had so much life to live i couldnt he would do something like that, And i remember getting into a fight with slade. To been a single mom to a boy..from day one I instilled certain things into his thought process..but one is if you are head forward hang with people that are going in the same path as you..I tell him how it was with me growing up in the hood and why when he was young I moved away from the city and out the hood..I made sure we lived in a diverse race area where he go to school with all races and different cultures..I pray for us parents that are raising young black men because these streets aren’t safe nor anything to glorify

It has more to do with conforming to the negative stereotype that was created to destroy African-Americans and is a byproduct of the degeneracy of southern white people(the rejects amongst white society). I’m an immigrant from east Africa, my people just came into America in the 90s and there’s a lotttt of people originally from my country living in America who raised their children properly but their kids got caught up in the glitz and glamour of the streets not understanding when the novelty effect wears off a harsh reality is faced. Thankfully all my siblings and I even though we were raised in the hood, we kept our conservative and religious values because we were outcasted by those that were negative influences. They didn’t perceive us as “cool” cause we dressed in mixed-matched ugly clothes and had Payless shoes. My cousins who didn’t get raised in the hood and their parents are very well off financially ended up doing hard drugs, going to jail, and cosplaying as gang members even though, unlike a lot of African Americans, they had a choice. They wasn’t born into a gang, drug use wasn’t normalized and far from encouraged.
