Ekjata in Tantrik Hinduism is recognised as Devi / goddess who in shakta context will be Parabramha herself. But in Buddhism she is quite like a yogini or demi god isn't it? Also I heard she has one breast , tooth nd eye because of Padmasambhava's curse.
Ma'am , in buddhism Ekajati is a dharmapala who is fully enlightened . In many traditions of buddhism she is considered to be a wrathful manifestation of Tara ma . Tara ma took this wrathful form to subdue Mamo beings . Similar to Manjushiri who took form of yamataka to subdue yama beings and other devas . Outer appearance of these deities may look very wrathful and ferocious but their true nature is of a fully enlightened Buddha/Bodhisattv .

Ekadzati (Skt. Ekajaṭī; Tib. Ralchikma; Tib. ཨེ་ཀ་ཛ་ཊཱི་, རལ་གཅིག་མ་, Wyl. ral gcig ma) - an important protectress of the Dzogchen teachings. She is depicted with a single tuft of hair (the literal meaning of her name), a single eye and a single breast.
