Friday Night Funkin' is a Newgrounds rhythm game made in HaxeFlixel originally created for Ludum Dare 47. Okay, after dealing with bunch of work stuff, I'm finally back to pull the story! So sorry for the wait everyone!
[Part 1]
After Monika, Sayori and Natsuki had their meeting and did their training for Nightmare Mode, it was night time when they finished. So therefore it was time to head home. They were about to pass by a very lively neighborhood. By lively, meaning... NOTHING is boring.
Sayori: I wonder how Yuri is doing. She was under Nightmare Mode after effects this morning, so hopefully it wore off.
Natsuki: That better be the case. We uh... should check on her on the way.
Sayori: Okay, sure! Maybe bake some sweets at her house!
[They walk on until they saw Cuphead, Sans and Papyrus talking to a man in a green hoodie]
Cuphead: -He noticed Sayori and Natsuki- Yo! Girls! What's shakin'?
Sayori: Hey Cuphead! What are you, Sans and Papyrus doing here?
Cuphead: Well, Sans and Papyrus noticed some new neighbors that came to this town, so we decided to greet 'em. Green hoodie seems like a solid dude, too!
Natsuki: What? When did this happen? I didn't see any moving trucks!
Papyrus: Oh about at noon, dear human! Were you preoccupied?
Sayori: Yeah, we were at school with Monika at the time.
Sans: Heh. Well, no time like anything. C'mere and meet Edd.
Edd: [Looked over at the girls] Well hi there! I'm Edd Gould. Nice to meet you!
Sayori: Hiya, Edd! I'm Sayori!
Natsuki: Name's Natsuki.
Edd: Ah, these guys told me about you and your other friends. You guys had a lot of crazy adventures too?
Sayori: Eheheh... well they are crazy, but some aren't really pleasant.
Natsuki: Wait. You also done adventures?
Cuphead: Yep, he told us most of it.
Edd: [Using his fingers to count] Surviving a zombie apocalypse, going to an underwater city to get our keys, finding ancient ruins underneath our backyard, even taking a joyride on an alien spaceship.
Sayori: Wow, you have a lot more fun adventures than we do!
???: Heheh, it isn't as fun as what we do for a living.
Everyone but Edd: Huh? [They looked over at next door to see another man in green but with a mustache, a guy in blue, and a chinned blonde man in purple]
Edd: [Had a scowl] EDUARDO...
Eduardo: Well well well. What are you loser up to now?
Cuphead: Who's this nutjob?
Edd: My next door neighbor. He's been a pain since he moved here.
Eduardo: Oh yeah, you're no walk in the park yourself, bucko.
Sayori: Hey, don't be mean to him! He's just minding his own business!
Natsuki: Yeah, mind yours too, buddy!
Sans: Heh. No need to ruin his grove just because he's more "edd-ertaining" than you.
Edd: [Looked over and made the finger gun gesture] Aye!
Papyrus and Natsuki: SANS, KNOCK IT OFF!!
Edd: Hehe. But in all seriousness, this is my arguement to settle. Besides, I think there's a couple friends looking for you guys specifically.
[Edd then went to settle the arguement with Eduardo. On cue, Yuri had arrived, panicked and worried while the Ink Demon was holding her back]
{Part 2}
Yuri: Oh god, what have I done!? Will he be okay!? Why didn't I control this urge!?
Natsuki: Whoa whoa, Yuri, what's going on? What happened?
Sayori: H-Hey, Yuri. Deep breaths and talk to us!
Bendy: [He was holding her back a lot better than BF was this morning] Your friend has delivered a plethora of slaughter against that short blue haired mortal that was restricting her this morning.
Cuphead: Excuse me she did WHAT?!
Bendy: Indeed. Yuri's nightmare urges were far too powerful for her to restrain herself that she in result sent the child to an infirmary.
Sans: Yikes... sounds like she messed up the kid pretty bad.
Natsuki: Oh man, that's just messed up. Is Yuri going to be okay?
Bendy: She will need some time to recover, but I am unfortunately not experienced in comforting. Skeleton. Come and assist me.
Sans: Alrighty. You guys stick around. We'll settle Yuri down elsewhere.
[Sans, Yuri and Bendy then went off, completepy ignoring Edd, Eduardo and his group's arguement]
???: [A man in a green overcoat and purple hoodie then walked out] Oh! Company?
Sayori: [She looked over at the man] Ah, hi there! You friends with Edd?
Matt: Yep! I'm Matt! So uh... what's going on here?
Natsuki: Well, your friend is having another arguement with the neighbors.
Mat: Ugh, Eduardo, Jon and Mark? I thought they had enough after that ghost moved to their house and ruined their property. [He sighed before going to Edd] I'll go help him.
Cuphead: [Meanwhile, he was stuck in thought] Sheesh. Usually the nightmare side effects don't last the whole day. Someone must have messed with Yuri to prolong that effect.
Devil: [He chuckled before he materialized from the flames] You can thank me for that you miserable cup.
Sayori and Natsuki: The Devil!?
Cuphead: Oh come on! How many times do I have to keep teaching you a lesson, you sag-nosed bigfoot?!
Devil: [He aimed his trident] Watch your tongue, fool! It so happens I had found her slowly fading from her manic phase. Since I knew you were friends with that girl, I decided to toy with her mental state a bit longer. The boy with blue hair definitely stood no chance too, heheheh...
Sayori: You're an awful guy!!! How could you toy with Yuri like that!?
Natsuki: Why I oughta...!! That's it, come here you little...! [She was then held back by Sayori]
Devil: Oh, you could have just decided to bring her along and suffer her frenzy, but oh well. Life flips it's its paths when you least expect it. By now she will obviously have the worst mental breakdown and question her morals everyday for the rest of her-- [He was then cut off when Cuphead slammed his face with his Giant Ghost Super Soul, knocking him clean out of his lights]
Cuphead: I got sick of listening to you preach pal. Just can it. [He and the girls then heard a loud punch sound before turning to see the neighbor rivals]
Jon: [He had a black eye on him] Ow!!! I didn't even say anythi--!
Eduardo: [Balled his fist at him] Shut up!!
Edd and Matt: [High fiived each other before he and everyone else felt the ground rumble]
Cuphead: What now!?
Sayori: It's an earthquake!!!
Natsuki: What the hell is going on!?
Edd and Matt: [They both turned to face their home to see a massive red robot arise from the backyard]
???: [Inside the robot's cockpit was a sinister man who wore a red hoodie, a war helmet, and had a crazed expression on his face] I'M UNSTOPPABLE!!! AHAHAHA!!
Edd and Matt: Tord's back!!!
{Part 3}
Tord: Hello old friends, once again! This time, I will carry out my plan and nobody is gonna stop me! I'll kill you all!!!
Cuphead: Oh great, another Dr. Kahl and his robot! One was torture enough, having another is just INSANE!!!
Natsuki: No way... what the hell is this guy gonna plan to do!?
Edd: Mass destruction, that's what! He didn't learn his lesson the first time!
Sayori: W-Well, we're not gonna let that happen, right Natsuki!?
Natsuki: Hah! Fat chance!
Cuphead: Heh, I'll make quick work with him too!
[Running footsteps were heard closing in on them. Monika had arrived all the way from school, while Bendy, Sans and Yuri came back after seeing the chaos unfold]
Monika: I just saw that thing from the school! Are you all okay?!
Cuphead: Yeah but we gotta take down the guy controlling that bot!
Yuri: B-But how are we going to defeat something that massive!?
Sans: Welp. Nothing too hard for us to handle. Nightmare powers and all that.
Bendy: This foolish human thinks he is above all hiding in that gigantic tool of destruction
Eduardo: Well... this lunatic is trying to outshine me. [He went over to Edd's side] Hey! Nobody messes with my neighbor but me! If you want dibs, then try and take it!
Tord: Oh I will! WATCH ME!!! [He then shot missiles down at the entire group]
Dokis, Edd and Matt: [Screamed out of fear and braced themselves]
[All of a sudden, a massive explosion of nightmare energy blocked against the missiles and saved everyone's life. The Dokis, Edd, Matt, and Eduardo turned to see Nightmare Cuphead, Nightmare Sans, and Nightmare Bendy arise from the nightmare energy]
N. Cuphead: This is more like it.
N. Bendy: It is time... to eviscerate...
Monika: Hey wait, let us help in nightmare mode too!
Sayori: Yeah! We wanna help!
N. Sans: No, you girls are still training in your nightmare forms. I suggest you fight regularly for not. You never know when you accidentally go berserk on us like last time.
Natsuki: Right... that place. Alright fine! But you better not mess up!
Yuri: P-Please be careful you three!
Edd: Guys, here he comes again! Get ready!
{EDD AND EDUARDO, DDLC, AND NIGHTMARE INDIE CROSS VS TORD LARSSON}
[Cut to the end near end of the song]
Tord: [Shoots all of them down and forced them to stagger] Enough of this! This has gone on way too long! I'm not giving up on causing this destruction! I told you, I'm unstoppable! Now sit back, stop squirming and die!!
???: SQUIRM OUT OF THIS!!! [A sound of a cannon was heard making its shot]
Tord: [His eyes widened before he quickly moved from his seat, barely dodging a harpoon that had been shot at him]
Computer: WARNING. POWER CORE NEUTRALIZED.
Tord: [His eyes widened] Oh no...
[Everyone down below turned to face a man that had hair that stood up, wore a blue hoodie, had empty black eye sockets, and had checkered sneakers. He also seemed to be wielding a harpoon cannon. They turned back and saw the robot explode, causing Tord to fall straight back down to the backyard]
Matt: [He turned to face everyone] Tord is back down! Tom! You've got to save the children!!!
Tom: [He looked back with unimpressed eyes] Firstly, the kids nearby I had found only passed out. They're fine. Secondly, now you tell us to save some people even when Tord's robot has been destroyed?
Natsuki: Yeah you idiot. You could have aaid something earlier!
Cuphead: [Reverted back to normal with Sans and Bendy] Well at least the guy's beaten now. But won't he escape and try again?
Monika: I might make sure that won't really happen again. [She then activated her admin panel] Seems like this Tord person has some secret laboratory inside your house.
Tom: Yeah. That's my room he placed his stuff in. Please disable it, and Edd, Matt, help me destroy his things.
Matt: Right on it!
Edd: Sure thing.
[Edd, Matt and Tom then went back into their house, leaving the Indie Trio, Dokis and Eduardo to themselves]
Eduardo: Psh. Whatever, I'm going back home. Have fun, losers. [He heads off to his home]
Natsuki: I swear... I am ready to sock that guy in the face.
Cuphead: You and me both, pinky.
Sayori: So... now what?
Monika: We should head back to our homes. It's been a very crazy night tonight.
Bendy: Agreed...
Sans: Yeah. So, anyone want some late night hot dogs? My treat.
[The Indie Trio and Literature Club then head off down the street, having conversation as they make their way home, meanwhile the Devil was still out cold and was left behind by everyone.]
As stated before, the neighborhood was definitely not a boring sight at the slightest when you have a giant robot ready to cause chaos in the entire world. Even though it was a regular thing for Edd, Matt and Tom, it was lucky enough the Literature Club and the Indie Trio happened to be around at the time. Lets just hope Tord never returns to deliver mayhem again.
I wonder... what Tord being kind... and... it was a group friends...
