Really enjoyed watching this from Sydney Australia.
Thank you very much! Pleased to hear you enjoyed it!
I bet it would have been cool to see this part of the trip as performed by those old steamers!✌️😎
Thank you for watching! Yes, I'd love to lineside this line with a steam train running! :)
Thank you Henry - That was fascinating - What an idyllically beautiful line and journey, Those check rails are certainly needed on those incredibly sharp curves. Interesting to note that there were almost no check rails on the first half of the journey but virtually constant on the last bit. Very much appreciated - Would love to see the line in Winter snow.
Anne - St Albans
Thank you very much for watching! I was a very enjoyable line to travel on. I'd not thought about it in the Winter but yes it must look amazing in the snow.
Hello Henry, Hungary is a surprising country, I always enjoy visiting, although I have yet to visit the line featured in your video, hopefully I'll get to ride it one day. Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed watching it.
Hello Tim. Thank you for watching! Glad you enjoyed it. This is definitely one of the best narrow gauge lines I've visited. Well worth a visit and easy to get to from Budapest. Only an hour from Budapest on the train.
Cool trains 😎
Thank you! :)
It reminds me tram trips in "neighbor" Temeswar (Timisoara, Romania) in mid '70s. Thanks for sharing!
You're welcome! Thank you for watching! I'd like to visit Timisoara in the future.

Is a revenue line or a tourist line?
Tourist/heritage line.
760 mm? Yup it is 760 mm. I remeber that Szob is a border station to Hungary when it was passport and visa control there earlier for those need it, we from Sweden don't need any visa then.
Thank you for watching! Yes, its 760mm. Now with Schengen trains pass through without stopping.
