Kim! Thank you for letting me and my wife come over and pick your brain on some veggies and see your amazing garden
Thank you for sharing. Your garden is amazing. I’m in zone 6a. It’s my 2nd year growing in this space. I’m glad you had a vacation. It’s nice to be away and it’s not for work! Happy growing.
Give the radish pods a try, they are a very delicious garden treat
Kim, I can tell you’re a perfectionist - plus you’re very articulate, which I appreciate, since I’m very literal. You’re probably in a profession where that trait serves you well. Your garden is symmetrical, neat, and tidy. Plus you’ve got the cool stuff. I’m jelly over here cuz I’m on a budget 😂❤
I am quite a perfectionist, but I can't always get it just right. I will keep trying. 15 years ago, I started with two tomato plants in the ground next to my garage and how my garden has grown over the years. Start small and work your way up.
I'm so glad I found your channel earlier this spring. I truly enjoy seeing your garden's progress! You're an inspiration! I'm in 5b in Colorado and my garden is not as far along as yours.
I'm so glad you found me ☺️
My father is mulatto - half black, half white. He was raised black, with roots in Indianapolis and TN. Since my Dad grew up with poor black southern roots and my mom is Korean, I grew up eating poor black food (hot water cornbread, neck bones and beans, mustard greens, collards, turnip greens, etc etc., plus Korean food. I never ate a typical midwestern white bread diet of meat, potatoes, vegetables, and all them casseroles they have, aside from tuna casserole 😂. So, imagine what my favorite comfort foods are as an adult - exactly what I ate as a kid.
Sounds like you and I have the same diet between soul food and Korean food LOL
Good afternoon, my first time watching you beautiful greens🤗
Welcome to the channel!
You have a very attractive garden. I love the neat organization. ❤
Thank you so much!
Your garden is so beautiful!!
Thank you so much!
Those collard greens look yummy.
I can't wait till I can taste them next week
Hey Kim, such a beautiful harvest, I can’t wait to experience kohlrabi. Have a wonderful blessed day ❤😊
Thank you! You too!
Your garden is beautiful! I can’t believe how big all your veggies are. My pepper Greenstalk is nowhere near as grown as yours. Was that a GS you over wintered? I need to search your past videos and see how you do that. Looking forward to part 2.
Yes, those are the peppers that I overwintered, and they're doing really well compared to the ones I just transplanted out this year. I will definitely use that process again.
Yes love my greens!!! 😋
Me too!!
Just a beautiful garden❤
Thank you☺️💕
What an amazing Kozy Korner that you have created. Collards, fruits, and flowers are beautiful. New subbie here.
Thanks and welcome
Beautiful ❤
Thank you! 😊
Looks wonderful! How do you control pests?
I typically catch and carry away squirrels, but this year, I have a squirrel that is wreaking havoc in my garden, and I apparently don't have the solution yet..... working on it🙂
Is that just landscape fabric between your rolls?
Hello, and thanks for watching. Yes, that is landscape fabric between my beds. The one thing I hate to do is weeding.
