Magneto MVP Gameplay Marvel Rivals Closed Alpha Test
Hadn't played many games so sorry for my poor gameplay at times but pulled off some nice plays still! Loving learning so far!
Any tips and tricks let me know in the comments!

The teamwork activated thing with Magneto and Wanda. What is it exactly?
So, when they are both in the game, she imbues those rings on his back with chaos magic(they glow red when they are close to each other). I believe it is a 15%(someone check me on the number if I don't get to it) damage increase for Magneto. I honestly didn't really notice the difference, but if I'm right with 15% it should be pretty strong lol

@@cjwinchester1206 So I somehow missed it completely in this video, but if you press C with Magneto it changes his primary to him swinging his greatsword and launching these red beams that just do a TON of damage. I need to put up a video to showcase this lol. I can't believe I completely missed it. Feel like such a noob XD

So...who decided him wearing grey was a good idea...and whose idea was it to make him 85 years old
I hate the costume choices for him! The alternate is a darker color, but still not his traditional red. Not sure why they did that!
He did wear a white grey sort of suit in the comics. However, it was a lot less bulky and really just a recolour

His shield recharge time is a bit unfair
Yeah, the tanks need a lot of tuning imo. They are all a bit all over the place. Some have better cooldowns, some more health, some better shields. Would be interesting to see where they land as far as meta goes after some tuning.
@@valstarlight mmmhm! You have literally extracted potential from where there is none. A shield with little durability and a 12 second recharge time is very unfair.
@@valstarlight like... he is already penalized for movement and attack speed.
With so much ability to move, fly, etc., tanks that can't fly suffer. @@valstarlight The game is incredible! This worries me because I like playing as a tank.😊
@@LucasHenrique-cs6yc Yeah, don't worry too much about it. Lots of time for them to fine tune stuff and despite all the stuff we just talked about the tanks do feel pretty good still. I have high hopes!
I think the game has a nice style going for it. Bit of a mix of the exaggeration of comic cartoon looks, add a bit of extra "spikes and belts" stuff...
But... the animation looks... stiff?
Animations seem to easily blend from one to the next, little emphasis on the transition and change/lack of windup and payoff.
Characters that can fly seem to listlessly "hop" in mid-air, and then drop with lack of momentum/temporary suspension.
It could just be my poor gameplay, but you can "float" down with most of the flying characters by holding Spacebar (Magneto, Hela, Scarlet Witch). Only Storm and Iron Man can fly consistently, and Scarlet Witch can fly temporarily with her shift ability. The animation could use a bit of polish, but this is a Closed Alpha Test so I'm just they'll make some tweaks before the next time we get our hands on it.

I wasn't put into the creator program or anything, so no keys from my streams, but look out for other people streaming it and you might get lucky!

Someone teach me how to better us his ult, because I'm terrible with it lol. Thought it was more of a counter-play but even that wasn't working well for me. Any tips would be greatly appreciated! :D

@@RodrigoPereira-bz9ri Not so much in this vid, but I tried holding it to absorb attacks(like a counter-attack) but it still seems pretty weak unless I hit someone square in the face with it lol. I probably just need better aim, but it does mention it like "exploding on impact" which makes me think AoE.
definitely let it charge all the way, you can't be shot while you do it since it seems to absorb all projectiles. as far as killing with it more, you're doing what you can, they need to increase the aoe range of it imo.
@@Dreklore OK, I don't feel so bad about it now. I played a few more after this one to try to get it down and holding it really makes a difference. It definitely absorbs everything thrown at him, it's just the impact after is disappointing even if everyone is shooting at you lol

This game is the most blatant money grab 😂
Facts, this game screams ‘overwatch’
Hard to deny the OW stuff, but it depends if the game is F2P or not. I mean I'm not saying it won't still be a money grab with cosmetics, but if there is a way to earn everything without spending then not the worst thing out there. (Though still frustrating as a consumer lol)
the ow argument is so invalid in my opinion. OW simply created/popularized a game genre. Thats all there is to it. And also OW should not be praised at all nobody plays it anymore its a dead game now. Paladins also has the same art style as OW. There many other games. Rivals is not even much of a money grab because it seems like there has actually been effort put into this game that caters towards actual gamers. @@valstarlight

@jclive2860 That would be a valid counterargument if only the gameplay was inspired by OW. Sadly, the gameplay, environments, voice acting, and art design are heavily inspired by OW.
