o/ Hi, dev of the mod here. Thanks a lot for playing the mod :) It's kinda emberassing how little time I've had yet to really put on the polish in regards to focus descriptions and bugs. There should have been a warning that Austria-Hungary is about to attack, but I'll be adding that with the next coming update, which will also include a focus tree for Iceland. As for the Algeria situation, I can absolutely see your point there, but the entire map is designed with the philosophy of having no forbidden zones, so that even the conflict between smaller nations should feel grander and more important. Thanks again for playing the mod, the video was very enjoyable to watch ^^
something that might be easily overlooked is that there's "achievements" for the mod as well, if you click on "playthrough overview" and then "awards" there's some custom challenges that can be done in case someone wants something to go after.
2:45 That's intentional, I know it might be a bit jarring coming from the usual layout, but I've gotten used to it fairly fast. The reason for it being double the size is that you can assign twice as many dockyards to ships now, which is supposed to allow for faster generation of naval units so you're not out of the fight for as long if your navy got sunk and also because some of the designs can get ridiculously expensive later on, it's to ensure those can be build in a somewhat reasonable time. When it comes to the UI, I couldn't figure out how or if it is at all possible to have only the naval production line affected by it, so I had to adjust it for all equipment, otherwise the factories would have glitched into other production lines when assigning them to a slot for example 👍🏻
@@SubtotalStar850-uh8pg There's several reasons for it, 1) realism: If you could assign an unlimited number of dockyards to a ship you could lower its build time way beyond what would be realistic for it 2) Performance: the game treats every ship like it's a division (more or less) so having a lot of ships on the map would lag the game even more 3) Capability: As of right now I don't even know if it's possible to make it unlimited, but even if it would be theoretically possible it would require some GUI adjustments still and I don't have the time to research into that possibility 4) Balance: With a limited number of assignable dockyards even smaller nations can provide to the navy game in a more meaningful way as larger nations can't just immediately focus on a specific ship type to pump out in mass EDIT: added the 4th reason
11:15 I can look into whether there's a bug going on with the mod right now, but in HoI itself I sometimes get a similar issue where the design doesn't show up immediately, but does so once I clicked on show outdated designs or selected a different production kind like planes and then switching back to it again
*Can I Roman Empire?*
I can skibidi ohio sigma rizz! 🚽

I definitely like the change of the Saharan desert being no longer impassable.
No offense but the borders look a five year old drew this
@@AidanCaliri-yu9jk That's gotta be the dumbest thing I've heard anyone say yet.
Hes got a point for some reason a lot of the borders are oddly so Squiggly i mean look at the USA-Canada border which is straight @@InfiniteDeckhand
@@JacobFraps Wow, almost like borders in real life, eh?

Why not just let players assign unlimited dockyards like you can do for other equipment
