I love the character of this guy and it is so nice to see someone teaching portrait drawing that doesn't draw someone who is so perfect they fail to look like a real human being.
Aww, thank you. I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for watching.
Oh my gosh, this man came to life right before my eyes. To say you are talented doesn't even begin to scratch the surface. You have amazing rare talent and an awesome personality. Thank you so much for taking time to share your amazing talent with us. Wow!!!
Aww, thank you so much. 😀 Thanks for watching.
I came upon your demos at just the right time, as I have a daily drawing challenge where I have to draw a famous person in a couple of days. Thanks for your 2 Lumis demos and downloads!!
Cool, good luck on your drawing challenge. Thanks for watching.
Yet another amazing video Rusty!! Thank you so very much for sharing your knowledge 🙏
Thanks, I appreciate it. Have fun.
Wow! Thank you Rusty, so personable!
You are very welcome.
A very very professional video Rusty, I love the way you have simplified the Loomis method as the full Loomis method can become very complicated. Cheers, JD NZ.👍
Glad it was helpful!🙂
Thanks. I gave it a try, and was quite pleased with my first attempt. I don't draw much but am going to put some time into it since I've always enjoyed it but never set time aside. I'll practice and definitely be watching more of your videos. Thanks again.
Alright. Go for it and let me know how it goes. Thanks for watching.
Awesome video i learnt a lot
Glad it was helpful!
He is lookin good!
Yep, he turned out pretty good for a quick sketch. Fairly close resemblance.
Thank you Rusty greetings from England ❤
Hi England. I'm glad you are watching. Say "hey" to the King from Missouri.
Though this is far beyond my abilities, I really enjoyed watching. Great video, sir.
It might be for a while, but practice and you'll get the hang of it. Thanks for watching.
It would be easier to follow what you are doing if you had the reference photo up on the screen. Just a suggestion thank you!
Noted! I'll pop one in the corner on the next tutorial.
Thank you
You're welcome
Great video! By the way, did you draw the eyebrows, and I just missed it?
No, not really. I think I started on the one eye, but they weren't that visible in the photo and I don't think I got back to them. Good catch. Thanks for watching.
Very Interesting.
I will retire soon and want to practice this with much freestyle.
How long have you done this and are you making a little money ?
Just curious = no need for answer if you don't have the time or inclination
(Some sites ask you to " buy them a coffee!)🙂
I have been drawing all my life as long as I can remember. I have been using the method for about 20 years and I have been on RUclips only since January 2024. I am making a small amount of money. I plan to plow it back into equipment for making better videos. Trying to figure out how to be a better online instructor. 🙂
It is Winston Churchill
It does look like him, but I don't think so. The photo is older than what he would have been at that time.
Where is the download for the book?
Here’s the link… rnelsonarts.com/almost-done/
Next time can we have the reference on screen instead of yourself please?
