Analyze his face and his fretting hand in "Alaska". Those difficult parts are just as chaotic as anything from Cattle Decapitation's 4th-6th albums, albeit less loose.

Hearing that breakdown at 15:49 during more of myself to kill with Tommy doing the low growls wowwww, love hearing btbam do that sound again. Tommy should incorporate those lows into the new stuff!!!
Those low growls are really challenging to do, especially night after night on tour. I've seen Tommy use a higher scream in place of them on a few different occasions. I think with BTBAM's dedication to damn near note for note perfection in live performances, he probably wouldn't want to do anything in the studio that he can't consistently do live these days.

My first introduction to the prog-metal sound was Alaska from BTBAM and I've been listening ever since! As a FOH guy, I would be pissed and so scared that during one of their more famous song/sets the sound completely cuts out for the entire band. Absolute legends here even with the grey hair and knee braces! 🤘🤘🤘

iPhones have great audio and video quality if you know how and when to shoot, even just by point and shooting. Disadvantage for me is that their audio has less bass.
What a trip back in time! I remember having that CD on repeat for months back in high school. After all these years, they’re still killing it. These songs have aged incredibly well.

Is it me, or Tommy is doing more mid to low scream vocals than usual? I mean, this set might not need him to restrain so much cause is just the classics (almost no clean singing) but still, it feels more powerful, more agressive
I’d be shocked if they “remembered” most of these tunes. The better bet is they went back over and relearned them after deciding on the setlist. It happens to every band that’s been around as long as BTBAM.
I didn't realize how old I've gotten, the last time i saw them was 2008 or so, right before Colors came out They have grey hair now, i probably do too. Oh man 😅

I saw them in Chicago for Colors 2, was really hoping they'd play something old as an encore.
Honestly I like all their music but I preferred the pre-Colors BTBAM when they played these songs lol.

I was there. They were using IEMs, which seemed to be working. Only the main sound that went out.
