  • At GTC 2024 Jordan took some time to chat with our friends at Supermicro and Solidigm, and their role working together on next-generation large capacity SSD's and storage servers. They're taking a look at the Supermicro Petascale E3.S SSD server, a 1U server with 16 SSD support and a 2U version that supports 32 SSDs. Getting this many drives into dense enclosures is one thing, but Supermicro has to enable all the back I/O and expansion slots as well. Then Jordan talks with Solidigm about their latest SSDs, including a massive 30.72TB E3.S SSD that's amazingly thin and powerful. Sounds like Solidigm Gen5 SSDs are coming soon too!
