I've used LinkWhisper for the best part of four years, and have clearly been missing out as I found loads of hints and tips in this video. Thank you Nina!
Thanks Nina, my blog is new but I'm looking forward to the point where I can apply internal linking. Once I'm ready I'll be back to watch your video again.
Good stuff - I am such a big fan of LW. I shared this with a client so he could see the value of internal linking (he was missing it completely). Sidenote: I liked how, at the 15:26 mark, you decided the information provided was worthy of a mf'in mic drop!
On domain settings, I thought you'd want to say yes to opening internal links in the same tab. But when you went through it, you said no. Is that because it's handled in settings anyway?
Hey Nina, super helpful video thankyou so much! You've sold me on Link Whisper and recently bought the license during their July sale. A question for you - how many times should I include the same internal link in a particular post? (E.g. in a 'things to do' guide post, how many times should I link off to 'where to stay in'). I write really long posts, so I'm looking through the reports and finding that within one post, I've linked off to the same internal post 5 times. Should I be a one link per post kind of thing, or as long as the post is long enough and the link is meaningful there is no limit? Thanks!
Thanks Nina! So there is no trouble to use the same internal link more than once if it's in different parts of the post and it's relevant?@@sheknowsseo
The Link Suggestions is messy. They shouldn't have included it. I'm enjoying other features. Wondering why the so-called Link suggestions is highly praised in Reviews even though it makes no sense and is far from perfect
It's definitely not perfect, but I actually really like it. It's up to you to think about where to include internal links and strategize. This just helps you add them in or find ones you may have missed. If you're finding all the suggestions are random and sorting by category doesn't help, it's likely you aren't including any opportunities for it to link. It can only go off of what text is on the page and what keywords you've taught it to look out for for other posts.

Super helpful thanks Nina! I think this is going to be a big help as I grow the blog!

Haha I just talk with my hands a lot and I hit the mic :p I've gone with a lapel one now so I don't do that as much. Glad you liked the video!
Super helpful, thank you.
Great walk-through - THANK YOU NINA! ---> Question: How does the plugin work with staging sites?
I've not used it on a staging site. You'd ahve to speak to their support
Thank you- mine wasn’t connected to GSC!!

I believe it says "new tab" not same tab. We want it in the same tab :)
@@sheknowsseo thank you!
Hi Nina, can link Whisper used on website not built with wordpress?
No, it can only work on Wordpress as it's a wordpress plugin
@@sheknowsseo They do have a Shopify plugin as well.
@@phaedra426 Oh that must be new. Thanks!

Google only cares about the first one, os beyond that it's just based on when it's helpful to your user.

Linkwhisper is so confusing to me. I've tried to sit down and dig in a few times and I just don't get it.

Have you tried Linkboss?
Nope never heard of it
Would you use ?/ref= for internal links?
My settings are in the video :)
