Film Talk: Passing

Atlantic staff writer Hannah Giorgis is joined by actors Ruth Negga and Tessa Thompson, and director Rebecca Hall, from Passing, a film that takes place in 1920’s New York and tells the story of two Black women who reunite after years apart. Both can “pass” as white, but have been living on different sides of the color line.
