    Well done Ben, I am loving these videos, I coach a talented team of U9’s and have used some of these drills already with the team. I would love one that addresses movement of players at throw ins. I find the kids all start crowding as soon as the ball goes out for a throw in. Thanks in advance. Dave

    Clear and concise thank you. How about short ball free kick routine around the opp. box. Rather than speculative strike on goal, create space on the left or right to play ball into box from abetter angle.

    Plan C will pretty assuredly be called offside. They really need to be aware of where the defenders are.

      Yeah a potential for offside. Goal line and players covering the goalposts means there’s a potential to be onside. Defenders rarely rush out from goal at corners.

    won't a player be off-side with Plan C

    • @CatalanSoccer
      @CatalanSoccer  3 года назад

      There is a slight chance of offside however with how quickly this sequence happens it’s very unlikely that the entire box will be empty of players. Most defenders will still be in the 6 yard box ready to defend the corner at the time the ball is passed back to player B!
