I used to drive my " experemental " tractor up n down my street , and yes i did get the attention of an officer, no ticket tho. Was going 40mph in a 30 😆 Used a 90s 18hp opposed briggs, open pipes , 8" motor pulley, 4" trans pulley. Was all on a 90s murray " shift on the go" trans , filled with lucas oil , sealed case. Put 8" golf kart tires on it . Plenty of odd looks , as it was just thrown together and really ugly. And yes, i ran it with the governer. Im sure it coulda went faster, as it was a 6speed , but ran out of road before fully winding it out.
I live out in the sticks so I would be able to ride a mud mower around the neighborhood as long there are no cops at least nobody would call them on me they'd join me lol looked like fun

I feel like the stretched (not too much) have more stability and also the wider the better. I am going to either supercharge or use a small turbo form a saab or something to really give it some powah. is there an email that i can reach you at?
I have gone about a mile up the road to get a pizza. I used to take my cub loboy to the "pit" and hauled my trailer with my Kawasaki Tecate. The pit is down by the Schuylkill river when they dredged the river and then dug out the pit. I guess it is up to the cops but where I live it is a big farming community and there are big tractors on the road all the time. I suppose a tractor going 40mph may get their attention though.

This just isnt right. Mowers 1 don't sound like that. 2 They dont go that fast. 3 Down the road like its nothing. I was waiting for a epic wheelie.Love it!!!!!!!
Absolutely bearings all day every day. Bushings and even worse when people put rear wheels onto the front spindles, they do not last long at stock speeds let alone speed. Always use bearings if possible, if you cant, grease your bushings daily
@@redzz02 Yeah, thats what I was thinking. I just got some mowers a couple weeks ago and put some rear wheels on the front. Not ideal, but got me up and running right away. Will be putting front hubs with bearins soon!
@@nateross14 make sure you grease those before you ride each time, i used to do that when i started out too and it does work, but they will seize up on you an you can wreck bad when they do,

Cooper Boehm yes it has a 6.0, it’s bone stock I’m getting the works done to it, machine shop is super backed up so I’ll be rolling with a rental truck to haspin
Beer runs with my 535 Ford are better. I can get many many cases of beer and ice it down in the loader bucket. I also fill the backhoe bucket with the bar-b-que items.

Correct it is on the steering wheel, but the only reason that works on this tractor is because I have direct steering like a go kart

Nice run! Does that thing have actual wheel bearings on the front hubs, or just grease shafts? How do grease shafts hold up to high speed mowers?
