@@itsmeGeorgina my depression times has always been in the winter. It got worse when I lost my dad 3 weeks before Christmas several years ago. I always dread that time of year. I'm thinking about trying to see if one of those lights really help.
I wear a ton of very light and nude colors on my nails when I’m not wearing gel, when it wears you can hardly tell unless you are up very very close. If you are a busy professional and mom of two young children (2 years and 5 months) go with nudes! I don’t have the time or energy to do my nails every other day like I used too. But I still like to look nice.
I was told by a friend who moved to the US that over there it is a big trend to have that kind of whiteness in the teeth that is kind of unnatural, like a person smiles in a dark room and all we see is a floating smile in the dark, glowing. But here in Europe the trend has always been the natural white without that ultra white glowing effect. She also said many Americans equate us Europeans not having the glowing white teeth to having bad hygiene (so funny and absolutely not true if they really think that though). She lives in Washington DC, so maybe it's only a trend there? Idk.
So true. I naturally have more yellow in my teeth. I have had them whitened in the past professionally but it was really hard on my teeth and the effect just temporary. I would need veneers to get a "movie star" smile but even then I would want to keep it on the more natural side.
Yes, someone is finally addressing the "glow in the dark' white teeth problem. It's very unattractive to have bleach white teeth... it's so distracting that they take away from the beauty of the face and eyes. Do we really want compliments on our eyes or on our teeth as the first thing people notice about us..
I had the "skunk" highlights when it was a popular look back in the early 2000s. Lol! Looking back, it's the equivalent of shoulder pads from the 80's.
1. Matte lipstick on chapped lips 2. Bad highlights in hair 3. Chipped nail polish 4. Overdrawn lips/eyebrows 5. Too much makeup 6. Lacking teeth maintenance(discolouration) 7. Being negative
I don’t do any of those but the teeth thing. My teeth are just stained. I didn’t have good oral hygiene as a kid but now as I’m going to high school soon I really envy people with super white teeth. Mine aren’t yellow but they are definitely not white. I feel like they’re stained like this no matter how much I brush and floss every morning and night it just doesn’t help. Any tips?
I love that you're always encouraging people to be nice and humble as part of looking/ feeling better. That's something that's very overlooked in our culture.

For dry lips, try a lip sleeping mask like the one from Laneige and a sugar lip scrub from time to time. I have been having this night routine for about 1 year and it changed my lips completely! If that still doesn't work, the most comftorble and forgiving satin matte lipsticks i found, are the Matte Revolution from Charlotte Tillbury (i have 11)
@Meowleficent I love the pink Laneige sleeping masque (hoping they come out with a three pack for holiday). That big container (little but big) lasts for ever and I use it every night. I love the Tarte lip scrub as my go to. Between the two, my lips are amazing now and I was so dry and eww before. I do like the little tubes of product from Bite Beauty as well, but I heard the formula changed (not the agave) not a fan of that, it is the one they had in a red tin last year in maple, peppermint and vanilla I think.

The most attractive thing a woman can do is to not try so hard to look "attractive". People who do that come off as self-absorbed, fake, and/or vain. Just do you, and don't care what other people think of it. Just so long as you have good hygiene, you're good. You don't need makeup, fancy clothing, fake nails, perfect eyebrows, or any of that stuff to be attractive. I know it's been said before, but what's on the inside really is more important than what's on the outside. If you have a good personality and you're a good person, it will actually make you look more attractive to the people. And vise Versa. If you have a bad personality and you're a bad person, first impressions will quickly wear off and people will find you less attractive than they initally thought you were.

Great video! I totally agree that humility is one of the most attractive traits. It’s important to be well groomed but at the end of the day never trade & kind personality for outward attraction.

I remembered when I was a teenager and read a book about simple tips to be elegant. A few tips mentioned were exactly as Shea pointed in the video. 1) Either paint your nails properly or just leave it but nice and clean. 2) Never have dramatic makeup. Big lips, eye brows, big lashes etc.
The last thing u said is what I always tell my kids. I told them, the bst thing they could wear is a good character and not a fake humility or friendliness to gain favor, but sincere kindness and humility.
Thank you for these great tips and especially for the time that you take with the links. You are following your own tip about being nice. Just a ton of value with your channel, all around.

A quick tip if you want plumper mid lips - Take a lip liner one shade darker and line the corners of upper and bottom lip in the same curve motion but the placement should be a bit lower
I LOVE the "skunk" highlights, always have. I think they look so awesome, I've been trying to achieve that look for awhile now. I don't see what's so bad about them, I really like that look.
Let me list the things I love about you and your videos...I love that you don't hide being a Pittsburgh girl! I especially love that you openly admit to committing some of the pretty girl crimes because you are human and not necessarily judging, but just throwing some good advice out there. I love that you leave in bloopers. And the #1 reason isssss.... I think you truly are a kind person at heart! Hahaha!! Hope that made ya laugh!
Being humble & positive matters most. Not highlighted enough for real, meaning just how if i say that "skipping out or trying to get away with other style fopaux is feasible if u're super chill, peaceable & grateful" others will urge uh no sweetie still check ur look 👌 well it worx the same vice versa_ being on point with ur look on all trends, habits & details but being extremely shady, snotty, catty attitude, obsessively down/up beat on ur looks etc. cross cancels too sugar & that fashion sense means diddly 🙅
With my lips, I use a dark or bold color to accentuate the shape rather than the size. Then just a hint of gold shadow in the inner corners to compliment my skin tone and brighten my eyes. Mascara and I’m done! Orange or cranberry blush when I’m not wearing lipstick
In college, one professor told us chipped nails was a sign that you have poor time management. That was 10 years ago and I’ve never forgotten!
Oh my goodness...that’s such a good way to think about it!🤣
Nail polish chips on me within hours, so I don't wear it.

The last thing u said is what I always tell my kids. I told them, the bst thing they could wear is a good character and not a fake humility or friendliness to gain favor, but sincere kindness and humility.
Always such a good message at the end of these.
Thank you for these great tips and especially for the time that you take with the links. You are following your own tip about being nice. Just a ton of value with your channel, all around.
Yeah, well attractive women should not go around criticizing others and telling them what to look like.
My mom taught me the trick of focusing on one area when doing your makeup because it can look a little much when you do multiple
I cringe at the those types of highlights! 😓
But I completely agree that the good character of a person is what favors them.
Gratitude and humbleness is the beautiful thing you could be.
Always excited for one of your videos!!
Awe thanks so much!!! Seriously!
Everything she is saying is spot on and I am listening!
I watched the video about the Magic Mud toothpaste. I bought it and absolutely ❤️it! My teeth are super white! The Cinnamon Clove is my favorite! Thx for the sharing😀
Was it weird to switch from regular toothpaste (chemical) to this product? (Assuming you used regular toothpaste before)
Lisa LaFave no it wasn’t weird for me at all bc I switched from fluoride toothpaste to fluoride free toothpaste (Toms of Maine) before using the Magic Mud. Actually I still use the Toms from time to time.
I switched from Aquafresh to Peppermint MyMagicMud & I love it too! I still use Sensodyne with it sometimes but I'm not sure I really need to.
Great tips! The first tip I’m going to try is the one for the eyebrows. I’ve been doing that one all wrong! Thank you.
She’s, you have a great personality!! 😊
A quick tip if you want plumper mid lips -
Take a lip liner one shade darker and line the corners of upper and bottom lip in the same curve motion but the placement should be a bit lower
Love all your videos ,I watch atleast 2 a day now im hooked
Oh my gosh, I love hearing this!!
You have such a great personality! Thank you for these fun tips ⭐️. I wear rubber gloves when I use my steamer to prevent steam burns.
Yay Steeler fan!! I knew there was a reason I loved watching your videos

I love your sense of humor so much!
I LOVE the "skunk" highlights, always have. I think they look so awesome, I've been trying to achieve that look for awhile now. I don't see what's so bad about them, I really like that look.
Imperfection Perfected make me laugh I have bright blue and black foils and I’m in my mid 40s , if it makes you happy do it yess
I'm 7 months married and your videos have been helping me a lot. Keep doing what you do 😍
Let me list the things I love about you and your videos...I love that you don't hide being a Pittsburgh girl!
Class is always in style. Keep up the great work!
Can you say the colors of your nail polish you wear in your videos? Are your nails gel. LOVE YOUR VIDEOS,
OMG!...You have a great sense of humor! I love how you edit:)
“And they’re good for your teeth. They don’t make them fall out. So... yay”
Oh god I love you!! 😂
So cute! this is a fun video. Love your style, presentation, and mannerism! Definitely subscribed
The black and white highlights look cool as
Loved this video! Agree with everything you said. Also, go Steelers, yes they are not doing well this year.
Shea you are the best!! ❤️your positivity!!
OMG I love you so much. Thank you for this video… I need to show it to some of my friends!!!!!……… Ahahaha Thanks! :)
With my lips, I use a dark or bold color to accentuate the shape rather than the size. Then just a hint of gold shadow in the inner corners to compliment my skin tone and brighten my eyes. Mascara and I’m done! Orange or cranberry blush when I’m not wearing lipstick
