I am a mobile lash artist and you nailed the pros and cons.
I take 4 different glues with me so I can cater for all different environments.
It definitely is something that attracts a lot of clients ❤

I am a lash artist and have tried mobile lash service twice. I was an option since I had a mom clients who can’t be away from home and also when I didn’t have a studio. The disadvantage for that were:
    1. Carrying my equipments (unlucky if your client has a flat with no elevator)
    2. Time wasted with travel, address searching and setting up
    3. No privacy for client to relax and easily interrupted by their own family or friends
    3. Back pain due my client refusing the lash bed
I would definitely prefer client coming to my studio. But I would still consider if I didn’t have a studio

Thank you so much for sharing ♥️♥️ Spoken by someone with true life experience in the field. All very valid points. I completely agree with you. In fact, I once had a client with a ton of stairs and I had to make multiple trips in and out of their apartment to gather my supplies in the snow and it was honestly so awful so I can definitely relate

Yes! I totally agree! Geting ready to start posting models soon, an I already offer temporary lashes as a service going to start posting those too! The humidty and temp would be the problem for me since parts of the island are more hot and humid!!

I love this video! I was thinking about it but I was worried about set up and humidity. I think I’ll stick to a set location for now 😂❤

I really like your work and your videos are soo useful. As a beginner I have a question: how to know when to use the 3D, 4D,.. 10D etc.. because I see sometimes that you use 3D 4D and classics together.. thank you in advance ❤️

Would you put the agreement of "not best retention due lack of controlling environment temp/humidity" within the consent forms? Or have the transparent conversation in person with the client?

I usually have a transparent convo with my clients in person. People are so understanding. They appreciate you travelling to them and are just thrilled you took the time to see them

$250 lash light is wayyyyyyy too expensive right now! Do you have a less expensive alternative?

I have a question so I’ve been getting my eyelashes done for a couple months now and everytime my eyes get wet such as watering they start burn every time like they can’t be wet at all or they burn my lash artist has tried different types of glue clear glue different bonder etcc…. And we can’t find out why they are burning do you have any idea ?

That’s so interesting. It may be the products. I have personally experienced this in the past and it sucked so bad but it was only when working with sample products that were dodgy. I only use lost artistry lash supplies now and haven’t experienced it since but you never know, perhaps you’re extra sensitive? May be worth trying some new goodies to see if it does the trick! Lostartistrylash.com cyano free glue + Superbonder May be your saving grace!

    What is diy lashes?

    • @LostArtistryLash
      @LostArtistryLash  Год назад +1

Great question! To define them in lash artist terms, they are much like pre-made fans that can be made into custom designed strip lashes for daily wear. Each tray can be customized to your liking and can create 60+ full sets ❣
