Keisuke is great, fear the Mishima mains but t8 less fundamental and more chaotic now with heat and hp regen and that's why there is so many close matches and arslan and knee so inconsistent in t8. Damn I want to se more Bryans and Yoshi in top 8 more.
I'd say using that many characters worked against him more than it worked for him. Sure there is the benefit of throwing your opponent off with throwing multiple match ups at them, but there is also the possibility of messing up more because your brain hasn't fully adjusted in a set to properly play that many characters one after the other. There's a reason most top players stick to a main and have a secondary or 2 at most for competitive play. The familiarity is there and they can think and execute more efficiently. Doujin is doing himself a disservice.

Ever since he got signed with Zeta Division been keeping track of him at Dreamhack Dallas and dreamhack Summer. Congrats `Atif Butt` for wining the CEO tournaments without any losing, just like `Arslan Ash` in OTB (Italy). 🙂 I think the key for `Atif Butt` here is how he can escape from huge pressure many times, and fight back even in low HP, in several times in tournaments, this is very impressive ! As you see, even `JDCR` using the same Dragunov, he was losing because can`t escape from the pressure. The down side for `Keisuke` that he was doing a big mistakes by dropping combos for several times, just like `Bilal`. So again, this is such insane tournaments by CEO, and again congrats for `Atif Butt` !! 🙂

Also just because you know it in theory doesn't make dealing with sidesteps even at the highest level as you see from these matches for example. Got it muhamed? 🤣🤣
Now as a king main who has worst backdash and not that good of a sidestep because of a large frame plus with no more homing throws. Opponents can easily spam sidesteps right to avoid kings linearity and it's not fair :))
Litrally a Kazuya in the GF, its my dream since tekken 7 days. Keisuke is so so fun to watch. Love his game play. Once a Kazuya is on fire you just can't stop him.
I think the match of the year is Nobi vs Rangchu Dreamhack grand finals. Ao vs Joka may be the 2nd best, but it was neither a final nor a qualifier. Plus, the slowmo spring kick bug made Ao's loss kind of unfair. Atif vs Keisuke grand final is also high up.
Doujin would be winning these tourneys if he just sticks to 1 or 2 characters and maximized with them. He literally played a different char every single game against every opponent with some key combo drops... this ain't no mokujin tourney
There's a reason why he's on that stage and not you, you know. Him using different characters got him to top 3. I doubt he would've reached top 3 by just using 1 or 2 characters.
Keisuke did well but he should took a free combo ... bro choked hard for trying to go optimal all the time against atif in the last set. He had a huge lead and that combo into heat wouldve won him the round.
