I see many recently arrived RUclipsrs are showing off their 3 bedroom town houses, driving their Honda or BMW cars to shopping at Tesco and Aldi to their viewers back home as luxury lifestyle. It may look luxurious to someone from India looking for a job but in reality this is just a common middle working class lifestyle here and nothing luxurious to show to people here. They have to work hard and make lots of sacrifices to maintain that lifestyle. It is not all rosy here as they portray. No person living a REAL luxury lifestyle here living in a mansion are showing off their house, cars etc. It is not fair to those people back home to make them feel jealous, aspire or to have a false dream and make them feel as unfortunates. The life is not easy here for all and lots of immigrants are really suffering doing odd jobs and struggling to live month to month.
Looking at your budget your household income should be around 120K gross which is above average income for outskirt of London.
You are right in a way. People come here aspiring for a better life and half of them suffer. Other half don't enjoy their life and just want to save money. What better than living happily and these people are. They have a lifestyle which probably cannot be afforded by many locals and migrants, but I am sure they have worked hard to get here and enjoying the fruits of their hardwork
I do not think this video was to belittle others or make other feel jealous of them and their lifestyle. She just showcased her monthly budget and there are more migrants in this countries like us who need more money every month because of their life choices. That does not mean they are showing off or downplaying others

i am living saudiarabia since 1992.Now i see your budget, it reminded my budget plan of 1992.For me this system did not work always. After one year i stoped planning.Life is unpridictable.More income. more commitment, more expense .By my experience, life is not for worries.Relax, be cool,save some money, be happy (content)with what you have.Sometime expenses are beyond our control.Best wishes to be happy aways with best health.

What i really like about your videos is transparency - be it showing youtube income, budgeting etc. It helps us a lot. I would not consider mortgage as expense though, it is an investment as you will always get that money or more money back if you need. Rent is an expense. Now, i think i should make my wife work to have a similar life style :)
